Through the summer, we have several rooms free for a subrent.
One room has the outlook for long-term rent, which we will decide with you after a "trial period".
Have a look through the photos, for which room we are looking for you to spend the summer with us! :)
We will update the exact rent and photos for each room as soon as possible.

Short overview:
1 room for becoming a long-term flatmate of us, 2 rooms for 3 month sub rent, 2 rooms for 1 month sub rent.
Room 1) 1st floor, 13m2, small, but super sunny - free in August
Room 2) Ground floor, 13m2, long-term possibility - free from June
Room 3) Ground floor, 13m2, direct entry to living room and spacious window - free 3month from June
Room 4) Basement Room, 22m2, very spacious but not so sunny :) - free June-July (August)
Room 5) Balcony Room, 20m2, spacious with outlook to the garden - free in August
As you see, there will be a lot of new Energy in the House in those upcoming summer months.
Therefore we want to ensure that the house's vibe suits everyone.
Text us a little about you and also mention which time schedule would be great for you.
We will invite you as soon as possible for a visit where you can get to know a few of us.
We already apologize that not the whole house family will be available to meet since we all have very different schedules, but we always arrange phone- or video calls in addition.

Due to the number of messages, it is unfortunately not possible to answer everyone <3 sorry.
The house is on a quiet and leafy cul-de-sac with friendly neighbors (retirees along with young families). By bicycle, we are 23 minutes from the University of Cologne, 14 minutes from the center of Ehrenfeld, 7 minutes from Rewe, 3 minutes from Netto, 18 minutes from Bauhaus, and 24 minutes from the Dom. By foot, we are 7 minutes from bus routes 141 and 143 (Vogelsanger Markt), and 14 minutes from the Akazienweg (lines 3 and 4) U-Bahn stop. There is a large park nearby, perfect for running and sports, plus plentiful mixed-use trails through farmland and forest, the suburbs and Ehrenfeld.
We are an international mix of eight people and a doggo, between 23 - 31 years old, and speak mainly English at home.
We are a colorful bunch of people with various jobs, hobbies, schedules... but there is always someone home to spend time with at different times of the day.
We are looking for someone who sees this house not just as a place to sleep, but who wants to live together and create a home we can all look forward to. Direct and open communication, a friendly and empathetic nature, and a basic sense of cleanliness and environmental awareness are a must.
We expect you to stick to the cleaning schedule and do some other chores in and around the house once a month. We therefore rely on you to attend our monthly flat share meetings. There we discuss how we are doing and what needs to be done in the house.
We also share the food and costs, and when we cook, we try to cook for everyone. So maybe you only have to cook once or twice a week (unless you like cooking... then we're the lucky ones!). We only buy vegan food to eat together, and although not all of us are vegan or vegetarian, some of us prefer the new people who join us to be.
Some of us like to go out together and others like to make music together. So you will find people for joint activities. But of course, you don't always have to join in if you don't feel like it.
As we have a garden, your help here is just as important. Watering plants, mowing the lawn, planting, harvesting.
