Dein zukünftiges Zimmer liegt, wenn man so will, im Zentrum unserer Maisonettewohnung. Wenn du aus deinem Zimmer trittst, liegt links neben dir Vios Zimmer und vor dir führt eine Wendeltreppe hinunter zu Jonas und Sebbos Zimmer.
Du blickst jedes Mal auf unsere luxuriöse Terrasse, deswegen hast du bestimmt oft gute Laune :-)
Unsere Zimmer liegen alle unterm Dach und sind zur Südseite orientiert, d.h. es gibt eine Dachschräge und viel Sonne im Sommer. Sonnenanbeter:innen werden es lieben, alle anderen müssen entweder um den Ventilator pfeilschen oder Durchzug machen.

Your future room is, if you will, in the center of our maisonette apartment. When you step out of your room, there is Vio's room to the left and in front of you there is a staircase leading down to Jonas and Sebbo's room.
Everytime you walk out the room, you see our luxurious terrace, so you're probably in a good mood very often :-)
Our rooms are all under the roof and face the south, which means there is a sloping roof and lots of sun in summer. Sun worshipers will love it, everyone else will either have to haggle over the fan or make draught.
Unsere Wohnung liegt sehr zentral in Neustadt-Neuschönefeld.
Innerhalb von wenigen Minuten bist du in der Innenstadt (< 10 min. zum Hbf mit dem Rad).
Das Viertel kann eigentlich kaum lebendiger sein. Wenn du den Trubel magst und gerne durch Straßen schlenderst in denen sich arabische und türkische Supermärkte, Imbissläden, hippe Bars und soziokulturelle Orte aneinanderreihe, bist du hier genau richtig. Und trotzdem gelangst du schnell auch in ruhigere Ecken und kannst im Mariannenpark oder am Theklaer Badesee entspannen.

Our apartment is centrally located in a district called Neustadt-Neuschönefeld.
Within a few minutes you can be in the city center (< 10 minutes to the main station by bike).
The district could hardly be more lively. If you like the hustle and bustle and enjoy strolling through streets lined with Arabic and Turkish supermarkets, snack shops, hip bars and socio-cultural places, you've come to the right place. And yet you can quickly get to quieter corners and relax in Mariannenpark or at the Theklaer lake.
Wir sind noch 5 Mitbewohner:innen (Jonas, Vio, Sebbo, Alex), von denen Einer geht (Robert) und zwei Neue kommen, nämlich du und Baby X. Alex ist nämlich im 5. Monat schwanger und hat dadurch die WG Dynamik durcheinandergewirbelt.
Aber da es uns mittlerweile schon 12 Jahre gibt, sind wir zuversichtlich, dass uns auch diese neue Wendung nicht auseinanderreißt.
Bei uns läuft es familiär ab, das bedeutet aber nicht, dass wir immerzu aufeinander hängen. Jede:r hat auch ein Leben neben der WG, geht arbeiten oder studiert, trifft Freunde, feiert, gärtnert, entspannt, reist, werkelt, wasmanhaltsomacht.
Wir wünschten, dass du weltoffen bist, eine eher linke als mittige oder gar rechte Lebenseinstellung vertrittst, nicht zu jung bist (alles ab 30 Jahren aufwärts zum Beispiel), gerne in Gemeinschaft lebst, keinen Würgereiz bei containertem Essen bekommst und dir prinzipiell vorstellen kannst mit einem Baby zusammenzuwohnen.

We are still 5 roommates (Jonas, Vio, Sebbo, Alex) one of whom is leaving (Robert) and two new ones are coming, namely you and Baby X (then we are 6)
Since we've been around for 12 years now, we're confident that this new twist of having an newborn living with us, won't tear us apart.
We all are quite close, but that doesn't mean that we depend on each other all the time. Everyone also has a life outside of their shared apartment, goes to work or study, meets friends, celebrates, doing gardening work, relaxes, travels, and so on.
We hope that you are cosmopolitan, have a more left-wing than middle- or even right-wing attitude to life, are not too young (everyone from the age of 30, for example), enjoy living in a community, don't get gags when eating food from dumpster diving and can basically imagine yourself with us living with a baby.
