Das WG Zimmer ist 8,3 qm groß und geht nach hinten zum Garten raus. Von der Küche geht ein großer Balkon ab, auf dem wir im Frühling und Sommer gerne gemeinsam essen und quatschen. Vom Balkon aus sieht man den Gemeinschaftsgarten hinterm Haus. Der Garten wird bisher noch nicht wirklich genutzt, was wir gerne als Wg ändern würden durch kleine Abendessen, Picknicks und Gartenfeste.
In der Küche gibt es eine Einbauküche, die wir von der Vermieterin übernommen haben. Seit neuestem haben wir auch einen Sodastream für das abendliche Sprudeltrinken auf dem Balkon.
Die Wohnung ist noch nicht so eingerichtet wie wir es uns wünschen, weshalb wir sie gerne zusammen noch weiter gestalten würden. :)
Extra Stauraum gibt es durch einen Schrank im Flur, eine Abstellkammer auf halber Treppe und einen Keller.
The shared room is 8.3 square metres in size and looks out onto the garden at the back. There is a large balcony off the kitchen, where we enjoy eating and chatting together in spring and summer. From the balcony you can see the communal garden behind the house. The garden hasn't really been used yet, which we would like to change by having small dinners, picnics and garden parties.
We took the kitchen over from the landlord. We've also recently got a soda stream so that we can enjoy sparkling water on the balcony.
The flat is not yet as cozy as we would like it to be, which is why we would like to continue decorating it together. :)
There is extra storage space in the form of a cupboard in the hallway, a storage room halfway up the stairs and a cellar.
Unsere WG liegt in Leipzig Nord-Ost, in einer ruhigen Nebenstraße der Eisenbahnstraße. Sowohl Bus- als auch Tramhaltestelle sind in 3-5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Weg zur Innenstadt/ Hauptcampus/ Hauptbahnhof ist relativ kurz (ca. 10-15 min.). Gerade auf der Eisi und den Straßen drumherum gibt es super viele gemütliche Cafés, Bars, Kollektivräume, viele kleine Supermärkte, das Angebot, Konsum, Rewe und vieles mehr. Alles ist gut per Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Außerdem gibt es mehrere Parks in der Umgebung und der Theklaer See ist auch nicht weit :)
The flat is located in the north-east of Leipzig, in a quiet side street off Eisenbahnstraße. Both bus and tram stops are a 3-5 minute walk away. The distance to the city centre / main campus / main station is relatively short (approx. 10-15 minutes). There are lots of cosy cafés, bars, collective spaces, small supermarkets, Konsum, Rewe and much more. They are easy to reach on foot or by bike. There are also several parks in the neighbourhood and the Theklaer See is not far away either :)
In der Wg sind wir momentan zu zweit: Franka (sie/ihr) und Miri (sie/ihr). Wir verbringen gern zusammen Zeit in und außerhalb der Wg und machen es uns gemütlich mit morgendlichem Kaffeetrinken, gemeinsamen Kochen, Spaziergängen, Flohmarktbesuchen und gehen liebend gern Falafel essen :)
Noch ein bisschen was zu uns: Miri radelt im Sommer gerne so oft wie möglich mit anderen Menschen zum See, studiert Sonderpädagogik und ist beim Kritischen Lehramt aktiv. Nebenbei arbeitet sie mit Kindern und als Barista.
Franka unternimmt gerne Dinge mit anderen Leuten, singt gerne Karaoke (neben der Tanke) und probiert gerade bouldern aus. Sie studiert Jura und fängt gerade an Türkisch fürs Erasmus zu lernen.
Wir lesen und kochen beide gerne - am liebsten zusammen Lasagne oder Sommerrollen.
Wir suchen eine FLINTA* Person, die Interesse an gesellschaftspolitischen Gesprächen, gemeinsamen Flohmarktbesuchen und gemütlichen Abenden hat. Am wichtigsten ist uns eine Person, die Interesse an einem gemeinsamen WG-Leben hat, einen sensiblen und respektvollen Umgang miteinander schätzt und sich vorstellen kann, langfristig in die Wohnung einzuziehen.
Damit sich alle wohlfühlen, sind uns transparente Kommunikation und gemeinsame Absprachen sehr wichtig, weshalb wir uns regelmäßig im Wg-Plenum zusammensetzen, um alles rund um die Wg und das Zusammenleben zu besprechen.
There are currently two of us living in the flat: Franka (she/her) and Miri (she/her). We like to spend time together in and outside of the flat and enjoy drinking coffee in the morning, cooking together, going for walks, visiting flea markets and eating falafel :)
A little more about us: Miri likes to cycle to the lake with other people as often as possible in summer, studies special education and is active in the group „Kritisches Lehramt“. She also works with children and as a barista.
Franka enjoys doing things with other people, singing karaoke (neben der Tanke) and is currently trying out bouldering. She is studying law and just started to learn Turkish for Erasmus.
We both enjoy reading and cooking - preferably lasagne or summer rolls together.
We are looking for a FLINTA* (woman, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans* or agender) person who is interested in socio-political discussions, visits to flea markets and cosy evenings together. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is interested in living together, appreciates sensitive and respectful interaction with each another and can imagine moving into the flat on a long-term basis.
To ensure that everyone feels comfortable, transparent communication and mutual agreements are very important to us, which is why we meet regularly in the flat-share plenum to discuss everything concerning living together.
