The first photo is of the room to be rented and the others are for size purposes.
With thick walls, a heater, and a soundproof window the room is one of the three big rooms in the flat.
The sofa and the bed are the only things which will stay although I recommend checking the state they are in before.
- We don't take couples since more than 4 people in this flat are too many.
- No animals are allowed due to allergies.
Some of us living here are also planning on leaving at some point next year so this is a good opportunity to create a new space for long term living :D
By being on the eisenbahnstr. we enjoy of a great connection with the whole city. We have tram 3 & 8 passing in front of our house with 3 min walking from tram stops 1/3/8 and around 5min walk from line 7. In 25 min you in the West!!!!
With Konsum, I'm Angebot, lots of veggie stores, Turkish products & delicatessen + veggie market every Saturday just 5min away from our flat. In case you feel like eating out you can walk 1min and be already in the bistro Sirian asking for a falafel or a plate of the day in any of the nearby restaurants.
After a long day, you can always have a beer at Pracht, Goldhorn, PTK, Kulturapotheke, or Kune.
Aaaaand 20min tram ride to hauptbanhof!
Life in the flat is overall very calm, quiet, and very well organized ^ ^
It is a safe space where you can find shelter from the outside world.
If we are not outside or in our rooms we are in the kitchen listening to each other about what we are learning, doing, knowing each other, opening up, sharing our weaknesses, and supporting each other.
Sunny: With English and German as main languages she is always looking to do the right thing, listen to you, and offer a smile to make you feel welcomed and loved. Currently studying physiotherapy
Linda: Coming from the Netherlands, speaking English, Dutch and Italian is the newest in the flat. She is currently making an architecture internship until February and she is very sweet, understanding and family like person. You can have a beer with her and talk about anything.
David: I know writing bout oneself can be tricky, but here I go:
I am the oldest in the flat and in charge the new people know the basics of the shared life. I am a sensitive person, intense, honest, and introverted in the non-binary spectrum. I speak 5 languages so inclusion and diversity are very important to me. Feminism if is not intersectional is not feminism!
If you don't find me studying programming, doing music, playing drums, or having a deep conversation I am probably playing video games :P
We have three rules to keep a clean environment and life in the flat:
- Clean after ourselves (i.e: plates when finish eating, kitchen stuff when finished cooking, hair in the shower, etc...)
- Clean the house once a week following a very clever cleaning plan ;)
- Honesty, communication, and self-reflection to grow under any circumstances :D
Life can be hard at times and we can be that mirror to help each other to grow, but the real change comes individually from within, from accepting your wrongs as well as your rights and embodying the change with actions.
After more than 15 years of living in different sharing situations, Honesty, communication, and support between each other is a must.
We welcome anyone who is willing to take care of the space as well as the people in it, just send me a message and let's have a meeting.
