MPI researcher looking for a home

Hi all,

My name is Mike and I am looking for a place to live for at least the next year. I am 26 years old, American (although I spent the last 1.5 years living in the UK), and unfortunately speak no German. I also work at the Max Planck Institute of Evolutionary Anthropology doing research, so would like to live within 3-4 km of the institute if possible.

Ideally, I am looking for a furnished bedroom, but am willing to live in an unfurnished place if the people and location are right. I am also looking for housemates that are open minded, as I am engaged and my partner, Simon, will be visiting and staying with me from time to time (as I will also be visiting and spending time with him).


Ideally, I would like to find a new place to live by April 15, as that is when I need to move out of my current room.
