We have a room with a window that offers a direct access to the roof from where all of Lisbon is seen! You can sit down on the roof and watch the castle...
Our apartment is in the Lisbon centre, in growingly artistic area 10 min walk from the downtown. The room itself is not big at all -- yet extremely functional and endlessly cute, equipped with a bed, a table, a hand-made chair and arrangements for clothes, a mirror and a night table.
We built the apartment ourselves from historic pieces of furniture found across Portugal, paying attention to design and style. We are all young and dynamic: a polyglot, a telecom developer and a script-writer and we are looking for a friendly flatmate. We have a huge blue-as-the-sea table in the living room fit for dinners and conversations with an adjacent sofa area where we usually have our conversations about poetry and start-ups:). The apartment itself is all new, with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen that has an appliance for any imaginable cooking task (we love cooking, especially vegetarian dishes, so expect a professional lemon squeezer, a special knife for bread, mixers and blenders to name just some).
The cherry on top of the cake is the fact that we have a tiny private room for visits as we believe in sharing of cultures and making friends with friends of friends. We also have a weekly (!) cleaning service of the whole space as we really care about friendly order. Shops are varied (MiniPreço, PingoDoce, Lidl, Indian, Chinese stores and a really great fruit market with Portuguese produce) and are all 5 min away from us. We are a short 10 min walk away from Baixa, meaning going out at night is ever so easy. The Intendente metro station is literally 30 meteres away and the historic 28 tram stops right in front of the door. The apartment is very strictly NON smoking. All bills are included in the price. We value community spirit while respecting each others need for privacy:=)
Shops are varied and all very very close. We are a short 10 min walk away from Baixa, the Intendente metro station is literally 30meteres away and the historic 28 tram stop right in front of the door. We are right in front of the Largo de Intendente, with the most trending Clube Independente Association there that organizes concerts, has a bar with a terrace and even bio market every Monday.
Strictly non-smoking. We have vegetarian tendencies and we love cooking and making dinners together and with friends.We have a great living room with a huge table on one side and nice sofas on the other side, under the roof. You can see the castle from the living room. We all have high respect for order and cleanliness. We love organising dinners and theme-parties.
We have a small private room for visits as we believe in sharing of cultures and making new friends. We turned the little room initially thought for keeping household stuff into a cute little private room for friends and relatives who wish to visit us. We of course plan the visits, so that everyone gets a chance to have their loved ones for a few days. We all agreed that at any given time we shall have 2 guests max, with any person visiting for no longer than a week.
