Dies ist ein Angebot für ein Zimmer im International House in Berkeley, CA (nicht Los Angeles, aber es gab keine bessere Rubrik).
Das I-House ist ein internationales Studentenhaus, wo man mit Menschen aus vielen Ländern zusammen leben und studieren kann. Bei den Mahlzeiten und gemeinsamen Aktivitäten kann mann schnell Leute kennenlernen. Für einen Auslandsaufenthalt in Berkeley ist dies ein idealer Ort zum Leben. Im Haus gibt es Waschmaschine, Computer und Drucker, Musikräume und vieles mehr. Der Preis für das ganze Spring Semester 2013 beträgt $ 7366 und enthält dabei die Mahlzeiten. Das Haus liegt günstig zum Campus in einer schönen Umgebung.
Voraussetzung ist aber eine Affiliation mit der UC Berkeley. D.h. man muss nicht Student sein, sondern kann auch als Gastwissenschafler hier leben, aber einer akademischen Einrichtung in Berkeley (es muss nicht die UC selbst sein) angehören.
