We’re looking for someone who’d like to stay in a large, sunny room very near the train station and city center. It has wide windows and personal access to a balcony which can be great in the spring and summer.
While the kitchen is furnished, the bedroom is not. This means you will need to bring your own bed, wardrobe and have the freedom to fill the room as you like.
The cost of rent is 360 euros per month. This already covers internet, water, electricity and heating. 600 euros is required as deposit/caution.
The location is great. It's around 5 minutes walk from the Lüneburg Bahnhof, and nearly 10 minutes walk to the city center. If you are a student at Leuphana University, there’s a bus stop going to and from the campus right in front of the building. The campus is 3.8 km away and can also be reached within 12 minutes on a bicycle. It’s very near Aldi, Rewe and Rossmann.
The flat is part of a 3-storey building. In this flat, there are two other rooms which we as current residents occupy. We all share the bathroom which is bright and well-ventilated, and a furnished kitchen. You’ll be free to use all the machines in the kitchen including an oven, stoves, microwave, blender, rice cooker and water heater. Cooking and eating wares are also free to use. In addition, there is a washing machine in the kitchen, a safe place inside the building to park your bicycle, and a cellar for storage.
The other occupants of this flat are friendly and occasionally we share a meal and a conversation. But it's up to you if you'd like to join or enjoy your quiet time. One of the occupants is a PhD student at Leuphana University and the other is a hotel employee.
