Unser Haus gehört zwar nicht in die Riege der schnuckligen Mittelalter-Häuschen, die uns überall umgeben, dafür sind wir aber mitten in der Stadt und haben’s dennoch viel ruhiger als viele andere. Der Balkon ist super geschützt, gegenüber hat es zwar einen Schulhof, aber ab dem späten Nachmittag und am Wochenende haben wir die Ruhe weg. Die Papenstraße ist eine kleine Gasse ohne Autoverkehr und ohne Geschäfte, in die sich nur die wenigsten Leute verirren. Zum Bahnhof sind es zu Fuß 10 Min, zum Sande 2, zu Budni 3, zu Edeka 3, zu Imbissbuden 2-4, zu diversen Orient- und Asia-Märkten 1-3, zu den Spätis ca. 3 Minuten. Lüneburg ist winzig und wir sind mittendrin :)

Fahrräder lassen sich unten in der Tiefgarage abstellen, da hat’s nen Fahrradständer.

Our house is not one of the cute little medieval houses surrounding us everywhere, but we are located in the middle of the city and still have it much quieter than many others. The balcony is super nicely sheltered, there is a schoolyard across the street, but from late afternoon and on weekends it's silent anyways. Papenstraße is a small alley without car traffic and without stores, where only the fewest people stray. It's a 10 minute walk to the train station, 2 to Am Sande, 3 to Budni, 3 to Edeka, 2-4 to snack bars, 1-3 to various Orient and Asia stores, and about 3 minutes to the Spätis. Lüneburg is tiny and we are in the middle of it :)

Bicycles can be parked downstairs in the underground garage, there's a bicycle rack.

Wir sind Max (25) und Flo (28), und obwohl wir noch gar nicht so lange miteinander wohnen, hat sich's schon mega schön eingegrooved zwischen uns. Ferdi, der uns bald verlassen wird, hat jetzt mit viel Liebe ganze acht Jahre in der Wohnung gelebt und beteuert stets, es gebe keinen besseren Living Spot in Lüni. Ferdi und Flo sind Freunde von vor vielen Jahren, Flo ist zum Studium schon vor einigen Monaten zu Ferdi gezogen, und Max ist dann im Oktober in unser Leben gezwitschert.

Flo studiert Studium Individuale im Bachelor and der Leuphana, engagiert sich in der Klimagerechtigkeitsbewegung und bei MÖVE, einer Initiative für pluralere ökonomische Lehre, an der Uni, spielt gerne Klavier oder auch mal Gitarre und tanzt viel beim Unisport. Die letzten Jahre haben ihn durch zwei Studiengänge, ziemlich viele Städte auf drei Kontinenten, verschiedenste Jobs von Promo bis Gastro bis Berghütte, in Tanz, Theater, Musik und Architektur gebracht, daher jetzt ist erstmal ne ordentliche Runde Setteln in der Kleinstadt-Blase angesagt. Wenn es denn passt, organisiert Flo auch gerne mal ein Wohnzimmerkonzert und kocht passend dazu einen riesigen Topf mit Essen für die Gäste. Flo feiert die WG und, dass Max in der WG wohnt.

Max studiert seit diesem Semester Digitale Medien und Nachhaltigkeitswissenschaften. Nachdem er ein paar Jahre in Heidelberg gelebt hat, hat er sich entschieden, frische Nordluft zu schnuppern und ein bisschen Südsonne nach Lüneburg und Hamburg zu bringen. Wenn er sich grade nicht um den Uni-Struggle oder seine vielen Pflänzchen kümmert, schlürft er entweder mit Freund*innen einen Kaffee, denkt sich irgendeine Design-Schnapsidee aus oder engagiert sich bei teamGLOBAL und in der Jury des Jugenddemokratiepreises. Nachdem im kommenden Winter hoffentlich mit viel Glühwein / Punsch auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt auf eine fröhliche WG-Runde angestoßen wird, freut er sich auch schon auf gemeinsame Ausflüge an die Nordsee oder sommerliches Planschen in der Ilmenau. Max ist auch immer für gemeinsame Demo-Besuche zu haben, falls du hierfür noch Kumpan:innen suchst. Max feiert die WG, und dass Flo in der WG wohnt.

Wir beide führen ein unkompliziertes und warmes WG-Leben. Wir teilen in aller Regel unsere Lebensmittel, ernähren uns vegan oder gerettet, essen und kochen oft gemeinsam, gehen entweder im Alleingang oder gemeinsam auf den Markt, Flo ist bei Foodsharing am Start und Max vielleicht auch bald, und gemeinsam sind wir bei Koko, einer studentischen Lebensmittel-Kooperative, in der möglichst lokale Bio-Lebensmitteln in großen Gebinden bestellt werden. Bisher versuchen wir das alles so entspannt wie möglich anzugehen und nicht nachzurechnen, wer wie viel ausgegeben hat, aber falls doch mal das Portemonnaie drückt, können wir über sowas natürlich sprechen. Unsere Türen stehen meistens offen, und unsere Freundeskreise überschneiden sich hier und da mal (immer mehr) sehr gerne, sei es, weil gerade netter Besuch zum Kochen, Lernen oder Chillen da ist, Lüneburg ein Dorf ist, wir gemeinsam auf einem Konzert waren, oder alles zusammen.

Wenn der Frühling kommt, werden wir uns sicher mal mit Einrichtungsideen und Bepflanzungsideen von Thymian bis Tomaten an den Balkon machen, und überhaupt dort die Sonne genießen, was das Zeug hält. Wenn Du Bock hast, kannst Du gerne mitwerkeln, gestalten, die Wohnung verschönern, wo es sich grade anbietet.

We are Max (25) and Flo (28), and even though we haven't been living together for that long, we've already got on very well together. Ferdi, who will be leaving us soon, has now lived in the apartment for eight years with lots of love, and he always announces there's no better spot to live in Lüni. Ferdi and Flo have been friends for many years, Flo moved in with Ferdi to study a few months ago, and Max then chirped into our lives in October.

Flo studies Studium Individuale at Leuphana, is involved in the climate justice movement and in MÖVE, an initiative for plural economic teaching, at the university, likes to play piano or guitar and dances a lot at the university sports. The last few years have brought him through two courses of study, quite a few cities on three continents, various jobs from promotion to hospitality to mountain huts, to dance, theater, music and Architecture, so now it's time for a good round of settling in the small town bubble. If it fits, Flo also likes to organize a house concert and cooks a huge pot of food for the guests. Flo celebrates the flatshare and the fact that Max lives in it.

Max has been studying digital media and sustainability science since this semester. After having lived in Heidelberg for a few years, he decided breath some fresh Northern air and bring a bit of Southern sun to Lüneburg and Hamburg. When he's not busy with the university struggle or his many plants, he's either sipping a coffee with friends, coming up with some random design idea or getting involved with teamGLOBAL and the jury of the Youth Democracy Award. After hopefully having cheered to a nice flat share, with a round of Glühwein / Punsch at the Christmas market in Winter, he is also looking forward to joint trips to the North Sea or taking a swim in the Ilmenau in Summer. Max is also always available for joint demo visits, if you are still looking for buddies. Max celebrates the flatshare and that Flo lives in it.

We both live an uncomplicated and warm flatshare life. We generally share our food, eat vegan or rescued, often eat and cook together, go to the market either on our own or together, Flo is part of Foodsharing and Max might be soon, too, and together we are part of Koko, a student food cooperative where local organic food is ordered in big bunches. So far, we're trying to be as relaxed as possible about it all and not keep track of who spent how much, but if some wallet get's squeezed too much, we can talk about things, of course. Our doors are usually open, and our circles of friends overlap here and there (more and more), be it because there are nice visitors around for cooking, studying or chilling, Lüneburg is a village, we went to a concert together, or all together.

Once Spring is coming, we will certainly come up with furnishing ideas and planting ideas from thyme to tomatoes on the balcony, and definitely enjoy the sun there heaps of time. If you're up for it, you're welcome to join for some work or designing, to beautify the apartment, whatever seems good.

Keller: Unser Keller ist leider echt winzig (ca. 1,6 m2), zwingt uns aber, den Bestand an unnützem Zeug sehr gering zu halten :)

Basement storage: It's unfortunately really tiny (about 1.6 m2), but forces us to keep the stock of useless stuff very small :)
