The room is located on the first floor in the house and the direction is to the backyard and thus really quite. It big windows and due to the east direction you will have nice sunshine in the morning. The furtnitures in the room (bed, desk, chair, carbinet) are going to remain and are included in the price.
With the room comes a lovely and huge shared house! We have two bathrooms, a nice kitchen, living and dinning room and a grden/terasse where we try to grow some veggies.
The house is actually not located in Maastricht but just in the village next to it. You will need around 20 min by bus to the city center or 10 min by bike. Anyways, the village is a really cute dutch village with a bar, restaurants, doctor places and supermarket.The supermarket is actually just 5 min by walking away from the house. The village counts to the Valkenburg region which is known for lovely hiking and cycling trails. Thus, you will some tourists on the weekend passing by.
If you would like to move in you have to be aware that we are an international shared house (german, indian, greek, irish, romanian). We consider ourself not as a prupose flat as we spend quite some time chatting with each other or cooking together. During summer or when the weather is nice we like to go for hikes and visit the area. So we are looking someone you can relate in living in an communal international set up. However, as we are all studying or working during the week, we also appreciate privacy and respecting each others schedule. We would like to know you! Please feel free to contact us.
