Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig und verfügt über ein Bett, einen Kleiderschrank, einen großen Schreibtisch , sowie einen Beistelltisch. Es ist durch ein großes Fenster sehr hell und bietet genügend Platz um alles mögliche unterzubringen.
Im Gemeinschaftsraum befindet sich ein Schrank mit viel Platz für Lebensmittel und andere Habseligkeiten. Dort befindet sich auch die kleine Einbauküche. Hier ist es durch die besondere Lage der Wohnung am Endes des Ganges sehr hell und freundlich, denn direkt am Gemeinschaftsraum befindet sich ein großes Fenster, direkt dahinter liegt ein geräumiger Balkon.
Das Badezimmer ist klein, bietet aber alles was man so braucht (Dusche, Toilette, Waschbecken sowie ein Badezimmerschrank.
The room is very spacious and includes a bed, a closet, a huge desk as well as a small table next to the bed. Due to a large window right besides the desk, it is constantly flooded with beautiful daylight. There is enough room to store all your belongings. In the "living room" there is a big cupboard for you to store food or other things. The kitchen is small but it offers everything you would need for any culinary activities. The kitchen includes a cupboard, 4 stoves, 1 fridge and - for whatever reason - 2 freezers. The appartment is located at the end of the hallway in the doorm, which , means that is the only one with direct access to the balcony and a large window opposite to the kitchen - so there is a lot of natural lighting which makes the entire appartment very comfortable.
The bathroom is small but has everything one might need (sink, toilet, shower and a cupboard).
Die Lage ist einer der großen Vorteile dieser Wohnung. Innerhalb von 1-2 Minuten bist du an der Tram-Station, von dort fahren alle 5 Minuten Bahnen in das Stadtzentrum - in 10 Minuten ist man also in der Innenstadt.
Die ruhige Lage und der Blick aus dem Fenster sind weitere Vorzüge der Wohnung: Schaut man aus dem Fenster, hat man den Eindruck sich in der Natur zu befinden.
Der Rewe ist direkt gegenüber (2 Gehminuten), hat lange auf und bietet alles was man zum Leben braucht. Falls du gerne laufen oder spazieren gehst, kannst du das im hinter dem Wohnheim befindlichen weitläufigen Park machen.
The location of the appartment is one of its big advantages - within 1 to 2 minutes you arrive at the tram-station, where every couple of minutes you can hop on the next train; it only takes about 10 minutes to reach the city-centre.
The calm surroundings ans the idyllic view from the window would not make one feel close to a big city - there are trees, bushes and a lot of squirrels, rabbits and foxes around. If you like taking walks or going for a run, a small park right behinf the dorm allows for a quiet reflection peace of mind..
The grocery store is reachable within 2 minutes walking distance as well and it offers everything one needs.
Farzin (28) studiert Architektur und ist ein richtig netter Kerl, mit ihm kann man sich immer über alles mögliche Unterhalten - wir hatten viele schöne Gespräche über seinen Heimatort (Iran) und haben oft gelacht.
Du kannst dich aber auch natürlich in dein Zimmer zurückziehen und ruhe genießen, da Farzin super unkompliziert ist und auch gerne seinem Studium in Ruhe nachgeht.
Your roommate is Farzin (28) and he is a really nice and funny guy to talk to and have a laugh with. We had many interesting conversations about his home country of Iran and I will miss him very much. Of course you can also just keep to yourself - he often works and is tending to his studies in his room. I am renting this room for a month, because the dorm is about to shut down 31st of march and I will move to a different part of town.
Ich vermiete das Zimmer zur Zwischenmiete, mein Vertrag läuft am 31.03.2022 aus, danach ist es möglich einfach den Vertrag beim Studierendenwerk zu verlängern. Falls du aber bloß für einen Monat einen Aufenthalt, zum Beispiel wegen eines Praktikums benötigst ist die Wohnsituation ebenfalls ideal.
If you have an internship within this timespan, or you need a place to stay as a foreign-exchange-student, this is ideal to get one foot in the door so to speak - or rather in the beautiful city of Mainz.
It is a big advantage to already live in the city, when looking for a more permanent place to stay, since looking for appartment when you are already here is much easier.
