Looking for a flat share in Mainz

My name is Sarah, I am 27, from England and I will be moving to Mainz on to start a job at the University of Mainz.

I am a friendly, relaxed housemate, I won't know anyone in Mainz so I am very much looking for friends and not just roommates! I really enjoy cooking, especially asian food. I enjoy travelling and while I'm in Germany I would like to try and explore as much of it possible! :) I also enjoy climbing and I am an amateur potter.

I have lived in shared houses for the past 9 years and am a tidy housemate who can appreciate both spending time together but also that people might want time to themselves. I am looking for a relaxed house atmosphere, with my current housemates we sometimes enjoy watching movies together in the evenings, a few glasses of wine and nice chat over dinner.

My job in Mainz will be partly work from home so I will have to work from my room some days. I would be very interested in buying any furniture you are willing to sell.
