The room is about 14 squaremeters and it has a single bed (I guess 90cm*200cm) and and a storage under the bed. It has also a huge desk, a wardrobe, a shelf, an office chair, a simple chair and a nightstand + washbasin with mirror. The flat, so the room is located on the ground floor and has a huge window.
It’s a WG for 5 people, but a few of them already left.
There is one shower room (very simple) and a male and female toilets. The communal areas of the flat (corridors, kitchen, two toilets, shower room) is cleaned by a cleaning lady twice a week.
The kitchen is pretty big, it has a nice sized fridge with freezer, two desks, plenty of work surface.
There is a bike storage and parking lot just outside of the house.
Location of the flat is really good. It is a little bit outside of the city, but with bike/public transport you can be at Paradeplatz or Hauptbahnhof in around 15 minutes.
In terms of grocery stores: Netto (1 min), Lidl (2 min), Aldi (4 min) (Kaufland is about 10 minutes away).
Public transport: Bus 60 and tramline 4/4A is just 1-2 min away from my room
There is also a small döner place, an Italian pizzeria and an other restaurant called Maxim about 1-2 minutes from the house.
If you are planning to use the VRN bikes (which is free for students), the station is located just under minute from the house.
There are parking places and bicycle storage just like 30 seconds from my door
It is a pretty chilled WG, all my flatmates are really calm and nice people. If you are coming to Mannheim for an internship or summer school, you will easily be able to sleep and rest here, when you need to, as there is never a party here.
A few of my flatmates actually leave in June.
You can move in anytime and must move out on the last day of July.
We can write a contract both about the renting and the deposit.
