I am Diego, 26, and since my time as an intern is coming to an end I am looking for a new tenant for my nice and modern appartment.
Everything in the room and appartment has been renovated just 9 months ago, and every piece of furniture is newly bought.
The room itself has a very special feature: it has its own Galerie separeted from the actual room, you can think of it as having 2 small rooms just for yourself.
The lower part has a desk, a very comfortable chair, a big wardrobe with a mirror, a glass table and also a sofa that can be turned into a comfy bed.
The upper part is where you'll find the actual bedroom, and since it's facing the inner yard, it is very quiet as well.
The room, as well as the appartment, is ready for you to move in, since all furniture is included (aside from smaller things I bought myself, which if interested, you could take)
The appartment is very well connected, you have the Schafweide station right in front, the tram there takes you to Mannheim HBF in 15min and to the Quadraten in just 5.
On top of that, it's 5min walking to either Universitätsklinikum or Alte Feuerwache, both of these stations offer public bikes as well which comes in handy, specially for taking a ride along the river on summer, which is just 7min by foot and is a great way to enjoy some nature in Mannheim!
The nearest Penny is just around the corner (2min by foot) and the big Lange Rötterstraße is just 5min walking, this is where you will find everything you might need: another Penny, Rewe, bakeries, drug stores, pizza and döner places, post offices, banks and much more.
You will be living in an international environment, together with Ali from Lebanon and Luis from Spain. We all speak a little bit of German but English is the main language.
Since we are all working at the moment, the WG life is rather quiet and uncomplicated, we chat in the kitchen and keep a cleaning plan to ensure a nice living environment.
The apartment comes fully furnished, with a washing machine, dish washer and all the kitchen utensils you might need.
The deposit is a bit high, yes, but the landlord agrees to it being paid over an extended period of time (I paid mine throughout 3 months)
Also Radio/Tv tax, electricity and Internet are divided by the three of us, that equals roughly to 15-20€ per month. And since we just bought a vacuum, it's 15 € that you would need to pay one time only.
