As I'm moving out for an internship, I'd like to sublet my WG room at the Hans-Sachs-Ring student residence from now until 31.08. The rent is 250 euros warm, including internet. The room is furnished, ca. 12 square meters. All the wooden furniture and the computer chair you see here come with the room. The bathroom and toilet are shared with 3 other roommates and the kitchen with 7 others, who are all very nice people studying at the uni, Hochschule, or DHBW in Mannheim. Washing machines and dryers are in the basement, which are shared with the entire building.
The student residence is well connected, with Tram 3 and Bus 50 a 3-minute walk away. The Uni and Hochschule can be reached by bike in 15 and 9 minutes, respectively. There's a REWE right across the street so you never get tired carrying your groceries home. Penny, Aldi, and Biomarkt are all within walking distance.
The neighborhood is nice and clean. There are several basketball courts, 2 swimming pools (1 indoor and 1 outdoor) around, if you want to take a break from the busy studying life.
Life in a student residence is never boring. Everyone that lives here is easy-going and fun. You're more than welcome to join for an occasional burger night, a few rounds of ping pong in the basement, or some chilled conversation in the kitchen. As the property belongs to Studentenwerk Mannheim, a valid certificate of enrollment is necessary for renting the room here.
