Ich vermiete mein WG-Zimmer in einem der beliebtesten Mannheimer Studierendenwohnheime B7 für den Zeitraum meines Auslandssemesters vom 01.01.2024 bis zum 30.06.2024.
Es handelt sich um ein Zimmer in einer 4er-WG mit gemeinsamer Küche, Dusche und Toilette. Zwei der aktuellen Mitbewohnerinnen sind nur bis Ende Dezember in der WG, d.h. ab Januar würden zwei neue Mitbewohnerinnen bzw. Mitbewohner einziehen. Häufig ziehen internationale Studierende ein (aktuell kommt eine Mitbewohnerin aus Japan, eine andere aus den USA), sodass man häufig Englisch spricht und sich auch kulturell austauschen kann.
Das Zimmer verfügt über einen höhenverstellbaren Schreibtisch und ein eigenes Waschbecken sowie Regal und Kleiderschrank.
Waschmaschinen und Trockner sind im Keller und können für 2-3 Euro je Waschgang mithilfe der Mannheimer Studierendenkarte genutzt werden.
Zweimal pro Woche werden die Gemeinschaftsräume in der WG von einer Reinigungskraft geputzt.
Im Wohnheim werden regelmäßig während des Semesters sehr coole Partys veranstaltet. Da das WG-Zimmer jedoch räumlich weit entfernt vom Partyraum ist, ist die Lautstärke kein Problem - wenn man nicht an der Party teilhaben möchte.

I rent my WG room in one of the most popular Mannheim student residences B7 for the period of my semester abroad from 01.01.2024 to 30.06.2024.
It is a room in a 4-person shared apartment with shared kitchen, shower and toilet. Two of the current roommates are only in the WG until the end of December, which means that two new roommates would move in from January. International students often move in (currently one roommate is from Japan, another from the U.S.), so English is often spoken and there is also cultural exchange.
The room has a height-adjustable desk and a private sink, as well as shelving and closet.
Washing machines and dryers are in the basement and can be used for 2-3 euros per wash with the help of the Mannheim student card.
Twice a week, the common rooms in the shared apartment are cleaned by a cleaner.
Very cool parties are regularly held in the dormitory during the semester. However, since the shared room is far away from the party room, the noise level is not a problem - if you do not want to join the party.

Das Wohnheim B7 liegt am Rande der Mannheimer Quadrate und ist damit in perfekter Lage zur Uni und sonstigen Einrichtungen des täglichen Gebrauchs (Supermarkt in 7min Fußweg, Bushaltestelle in 2min Fußweg, Bibliothek in 2min Fußweg).
ENGLISH:
The B7 dormitory is located on the edge of Mannheim's squares and is thus in a perfect location to the university and other facilities for daily use (supermarket in 7min walk, bus stop in 2min walk, library in 2min walk).

In der WG kann sich jede/r selbst aussuchen, wie viel Kontakt er zu den WG-Mitgliedern haben möchte. Gerade in den Klausurenphasen sind die WG-Mitglieder häufiger "im Tunnel" und es besteht nicht viel WG-Kontakt.
Wenn man aber gemeinsam kochen oder Freunde mitbringen möchte, ist das kein Problem.
ENGLISH:
In the WG, everyone can choose for themselves how much contact they want to have with the WG members. Especially during the exam periods, the WG members are more often "in the tunnel" and there is not much WG contact.
But if you want to cook together or bring friends, that's no problem.
