Basically, I got authority from the owners to find a "friend" who will live with me in this renovated flat in central Munich. Or I can be alone. And we will need to "equip" it with furniture (another kitchen is on the way).
There are 2 rooms, approx 12 and 15 m2 (A rough estimate).
It is an old building in the very centre of Munich. It was renovated, as can be seen in the photos.
Each room will have its own kitchen, sink, fridge and oven (pretty luxurious tbh). The smaller room has a new floor, kitchen and fridge. The bigger one will get that during April (except for the new floor - but can be arranged (I think)).
Common space:
There is only a shared shower and a separate toilet.
Washing machine is next door (pay per use).
What you basically get is a self-sufficient room with a shared bathroom. You (we) will need to bring our own beds, furniture etc. We could help each other find and bring that to the 2nd floor of the building.
I dont know about the exact costs - we have a freedom of finding our own gas/electric/wifi provider. I shower mostly at gyms.
See the map. Close to Marienplatz and everything else. It does not get better than that.
I am just moving in as well in April so you will live with me. I do not know which room will I take (yet). In the first half of April, it will be a bit awkward, because we will have to share a kitchen and fridge in one of the rooms until the owners supply the other room as well. After that, we will hang out as much as we would like/arrange.
About me:
I am 23-year old TUM (DEA) student, starting my masters in April, with work on the side and a passion for the gym. I come from Slovenia where I did BSc in Computer and information science. I love to cook (I hope you can too) and usually mealprep. I can make sushi but lack expertise when it comes to baking desserts.
My only requirement is that you speak German. I do not speak it well (yet) so the communication with landlords, for now, is limited. You would help me with that. It also helps if you have some muscle on you, because we will need to bring the furniture on the 2nd floor. 💪 Start your message with phrase “anabolic window” if you came to here.
