The room is approx. 16 m2 and faces the street, the large window makes the room bright and open.
The room will be furnished and the previous tenant will be selling you all the furniture for 700€: large bed with mattress, 2 big IKEA Kalax shelves, a big wardrobe, a wooden desk and matching chair.
Apartment in General:
The shared flat is located on the 1st floor with about 120 m2 - plenty of space for the 4 bedrooms, a very large living room (>30 m2), 2 full bathrooms (2 roommates share one bathroom each), a spacious hallway and a kitchen. The shared flat is equipped with everything needed for day to day life (coin-operated washing machine in the basement). Some other perks are the elevator and that bicycles can be safely parked in the courtyard.
The location is ideal:
- Eastern tip of Maxvorstadt - 5 minutes to the English Garden, 15 minute walk to Marienplatz
- 4 min walk to the Odeonsplatz U-Bahn station or 3 min to the Universität station
- Bars, bakeries, supermarkets, etc. all in the immediate vicinity
Josh, 27 - from the U.S. but the German speaker & lover in the flat (also, fluent in Spanish - viva Mexico wey!). Works in sales in the cybersecurity sector, enjoys jogging and trying to convince everyone he meets that reggaeton is a legit genre. Hobby podcaster.
Savino, 29 - from Italy by way of Portugal, marketing specialist in the travel industry. Starts work at 9 but doesn’t turn on the camera before 12. Focaccia and Just Dance expert. After 2 years in Munich, he hasn’t yet given up his hunt for the nearest beach.
Lachlan, 30 - from Australia (also speaks German), engineer working student. Gym-rat but still peanut butter lover. Unless you are from Down Under as well, it will take you approximately 6 months to understand his accent but no worries you will get there.
Shared flat life:
During the week it’s generally pretty chill since we have full-time jobs. However, we still enjoy spending some evenings together hanging out, watching Netflix on the projector (!) in the living room or having dinner.
On the weekends things are a little more lively. We enjoy having friends over, going out for dinner and drinks and exploring Munich and the surrounding areas.
We are always available for common activities, but if you need some peace and quiet, that's no problem at all.
When it comes to cleaning, we have a plan and everyone contributes to keeping the apartment looking nice and cozy.
The stated rent (645€) includes: cold rent, utilities/heating costs, electricity, GEZ, internet
While we are open to all genders, we value having diveristy in the flat so if you’re female don’t be afraid to apply!
We are looking for someone for 6 months to start off with but if the fit is right, there is a possibility to move to an indefinite lease.
