The room is very cosy, spacious and has a long narrow balcony. It gets light all day long thanks to the big windows. There is also a lot of fresh air possible, due to the two windows and the balcony door. The room is offered unfurnished, but there might be small pieces that you can take over. We can talk about the details during the viewing.
The common areas consist of one big dining room, a living room, a kitchen, one bathroom, one separate guest toilet and a storage room. There is also a small storage space in the basement. Every room is connected to a balcony.
Note: the living room is adjoined with one bedroom, but the arrangement has always worked perfectly fine!
The location is perfect in many ways. The apartment is conveniently located right on top of Dietlindenstraße U-bahn station (U6 line), 8-10 minutes to city center by U-bahn. It’s 7-8 min walking distance to Münchner Freiheit and about 10 min to Englisher Garten. There are lots of restaurants, bars and cafes in 5-10 min walking distance. The closest supermarkets (Lidl, Rewe) are a 5 min walk. Also, there is a 24/7 open Rewe Express nearby (2 min walk) which is one of the best things (as you'll know if you've spent any time in Munich), since everything is closed past 20:00 and on Sundays!
A little bit about us: Sebas (26, Mexican/Swedish) works as a Busıness Planning Manager at an international Real Estate fashion company. Harry (24, British) works as a Supply Chain Manager for a Homewares company based in Munich.
We are friendly, open, easy-going people and would like to have a flatmate with similar/complementary characteristics. Even though we often like to do most activities together, we always give space to each other when someone wants to have space to themselves.
Since we both work full-time (Sebas in home-office & Harry flex) day times are very calm but there is always room for spontaneous events in the evenings. We like to cook together (or for each other if one of us is busy), or go for dinner/drinks especially now that the city is fully open. We also love to enjoy time in, often binging TV-shows or watching sport.
Our place is always buzzing with life. Friends from Munich, or elsewhere, are welcome anytime. We often host movie nights, dinners, in general get-togethers. Of course, there is space for chill time but it is generally a very social WG.
Due to this flatshare life, we are really looking for someone that we can easily get along with. Therefore, we would like to get to know you personally before renting.
There is always a parking place in front of the house in case you have a car.
Sonus surround sound system and PS4 in the living room.
There are no takeover fees needed for any of the shared furniture!
Viewing appointments can be arranged by email or WhatsApp. The viewings would be possible in the evenings during the week and anytime during the weekends (provided we are both available). But we will be flexible where possible.
