English guy looking for nice WG (see video)

Hi Everyone,

My name’s Tom, I’m 29 years old and from London and I’m about to move to Munich for work. I took a new job with an energy recruitment company as they gave me the opportunity to work in Munich. I’ve been to Munich a few times before to visit friends and I just loved it there so when this position became available I jumped at it.

So a bit about me personally: I guess I’m kind of a mix (like most people) of liking to hang around others but also having some alone time. I’m a pretty laid back guy so I’m good for chilling out over a beer/wine, watching a film or just having a chat.

I’m quite an active person and like keeping fit, so I’m looking forward to bike rides and hiking in the mountains once I get to Munich. I also like to travel when I get the chance. I’m not really much of an all-night party guy anymore (30 this year), but I do love sitting in a beer garden all day during the summer.

I can’t speak much German yet, but I really want to learn. I picked up Spanish quite quickly when I was in Guatemala so hopefully learning German may be similar. But of course, I would be the perfect person to help with your English (although you guys are generally pretty good at English already). I’ve pretty much only lived in flat shares since I first went to university so I’m used to living with groups of guys and girls and therefore keeping the place clean and tidy. My flight to Munich is 12th May, however I am happy to pay rent from the start of May.
