Your room is around 15 square meters, it has high ceilings and a large window facing the garden which makes it very cozy and quiet. The floor is covered with a laminate that resembles wood.
In the apartment (renovated before the last tenants), which is 95 square meters, there is a big bright kitchen with granite tiles, a spacious bathroom with bathtub and shower, and a small storage room. It also has a small "living room" (a walk-through area) with a fireplace.
The apartment has 3 bedrooms and is on the 1OG of the mostly student-shared building. The flatshare is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, and microwave.
The garden is located in the inner courtyard and has a small pond, and a lot of space to study or just relax. Bicycles can be parked in front of the house or down in the basement.
Supermarkets (Edeka, Aldi, Netto) and public transport can be reached by foot in just a few minutes. You can also quickly get to the city center, the university, and the main train station. The university can be also easily reached by bus directly from Rosenplatz. There is also a pharmacy, bank, two bakeries, and a restaurant with an ice cream parlor on Rosenplatz itself.
My name's Vera (27), I'm an international student and currently pursuing a master's program (2nd semester) in Cognitive Science here in Osnabrück. I'm rather comfortable speaking English, but am also learning german at the moment and would be glad to practice it as well.
Here's a little bit of information about myself - originally I am from Russia and have studied and worked in the USA, France for 6 years before moving to Germany to complete my master's degree. I speak Russian, English, French, and as I mentioned earlier also learning German (more precisely somewhat at level A2). I'm very much interested in the Cognitive Science field, and a combination of linguistics and computer science.
On a personal level, I would describe myself as someone kind, open-minded, respectful of the common living area, and a good balance of both “outgoing” and “stay-at-home” kind of person. I do value a good and healthy relationship with roommates (it's always lovely to hang out together :D!) and, of course, respect the time everyone needs to focus on personal/study/work-related routines.
If you are interested, just send me an email with a little bit of information about yourself so that we can make an appointment. Also, feel free to ask me any questions.
Kind regards,
Vera
