Hello dear “Flat-seekers”,
Since I will soon move out, my flat mates are looking for a new roommate from 01.07.24. The room area is approx. 17m² and has a window to the main street. The apartment consists of three rooms plus kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom may not be the largest and may not be the newest, but it definitely does the job. In any case, the apartment compensates with a spacious kitchen, which even has a small balcony (it is kind of our living room). Our flat is on the 3rd floor of a “family” building (which is mainly occupied by other flat shares). The location is perfect since it has a bus stop right opposite to it and other bus stops nearby. There are parking spaces for your car right in front of the building as well. We are allowed to use the backyard of the house, which is splendid for a BBQ and/or simply to relax and enjoy the summer weather together with a cold beer.

Da ich bald ausziehe, suchen meine Mitbewohner ab dem 01.07.24 einen neuen Mitbewohner. Die Raumfläche beträgt ca. 17m² und hat ein Fenster zur Hauptstraße. Die Wohnung besteht aus drei Zimmern plus Küche und Bad. Das Badezimmer ist vielleicht nicht das größte und vielleicht nicht das neueste, aber es erfüllt auf jeden Fall seinen Zweck. Auf jeden Fall entschädigt die Wohnung mit einer geräumigen Küche, die sogar über einen kleinen Balkon verfügt (sie ist sozusagen unser Wohnzimmer). Unsere Wohnung liegt im 3. Stock eines „Familien“-Gebäudes (das hauptsächlich von anderen WGs bewohnt wird). Die Lage ist perfekt, da sich direkt gegenüber eine Bushaltestelle befindet und weitere Bushaltestellen in der Nähe sind. Auch für Ihr Auto stehen Ihnen direkt vor dem Gebäude Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Wir dürfen den Hinterhof des Hauses nutzen, der sich hervorragend zum Grillen und/oder einfach zum Entspannen und Genießen des Sommerwetters bei einem kühlen Bier eignet.

Our flat is located on the edge of the Stadtteils Wüste, at the beginning of the Blumenhaller Weg Street. The Westerberg Campus can be reached by bus in 10 minutes, and the University “Yellow Castle” (as well as the city center) is reachable in 5 minutes by bus, but of course you can also walk or ride a bike. Quite closed there are some supermarkets (Absolut, Aldi, Netto and Bio Dens), a pharmacy, a bakery (about 5 Min walking), a post-office and bus stations (bus lines that pass by our house bus stop are mainly 16, 17 & M4).

Unsere Wohnung liegt am Rande des Stadtteils Wüste, am Anfang des Blumenhaller Wegs. Den Campus Westerberg erreichen Sie mit dem Bus in 10 Minuten, die Universität „Gelbes Schloss“ (sowie die Innenstadt) in 5 Minuten mit dem Bus, aber natürlich können Sie auch zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad fahren. Ganz in der Nähe gibt es einige Supermärkte (Absolut, Aldi, Netto und Bio Dens), eine Apotheke, eine Bäckerei (ca. 5 Min. zu Fuß), ein Postamt und Bushaltestellen (Buslinien, die an unserer Hausbushaltestelle vorbeifahren, sind hauptsächlich 16, 17 & M4).

Nataliya (29) is doing her PhD in Neurobiology and Sven (27) is currently doing his Master in Biology. We are an open-minded and relaxed flat. Even though we work a lot (and quite often are not around the flat), we spontaneously cook/bake something together or watch a movie with a glass of wine/beer ;-) Since Nataliya speaks English (and a little bit of German), we usually communicate in English (or a German-English mishmash is spoken xD). We have a cozy and tidy flat – but with no cleaning plan. We look forward to a roommate who also wants to live in an uncomplicated flat-sharing community and every now and then also likes to share activities. Nevertheless, we definitely appreciate and respect each ones individual space and alone time.

Nataliya (29) promoviert in Neurobiologie und Sven (28) macht derzeit seinen Master in Biologie. Wir sind eine aufgeschlossene und entspannte Familie. Obwohl wir viel arbeiten (und oft nicht in der Wohnung sind), kochen/backen wir spontan etwas zusammen oder schauen uns einen Film bei einem Glas Wein/Bier an ;-) Da Nataliya Englisch spricht (und ein bisschen Deutsch) , wir kommunizieren meist auf Englisch (oder es wird ein deutsch-englisches Mischmasch gesprochen xD). Wir haben eine gemütliche und aufgeräumte Wohnung – allerdings ohne Putzplan. Wir freuen uns über einen Mitbewohner, der ebenfalls in einer unkomplizierten WG leben möchte und ab und zu auch gerne gemeinsame Aktivitäten unternimmt. Dennoch schätzen und respektieren wir auf jeden Fall den individuellen Freiraum und die Zeit, die wir alleine verbringen.

The room-rent is 403,46 € and it includes wi-fi, water, gas and electricity. There is also a safety deposit of 386,- € for the landlord and a one-off-payment of 150,- € to cover the cost of the common furniture/electronics (washing machine, fridge, stove, microwave, vacuum, table, chairs, cupboard and some kitchen utensils). Moreover, I would like to leave some of the room furniture for a small fee that can be discussed later on 😊

Hinzu kommen eine Kaution von 386,- € für den Vermieter und eine einmalige Zahlung von 150,- € zur Deckung der Kosten für die gemeinschaftliche Möblierung/Elektronik (Waschmaschine, Kühlschrank, Herd, Mikrowelle, Staubsauger, Tisch, Stühle, Schrank und einige Küchenutensilien). Außerdem würde ich gerne einen Teil der Zimmermöbel gegen eine kleine Gebühr hinterlassen, die später besprochen werden kann 😊
