University Student Seeking Room for One Year

Hallo!

My name is Jonathan Baker (Jonny). I am an American university student; I have been studying mechanical engineering in the US at Oregon State University for the last four years (I am originally from California). I will study Material Science at Universität des Saarlandes for one year starting in September. I currently speak some German but I am taking German courses over the next six weeks, so I hope to improve significantly by the time I arrive in Saarbrücken.

I am very social and like to spend time socializing and hanging out with others. I enjoy partying and having people over but I am also respectful of noise and happy to provide others with space when needed. I spend much of my free time traveling, hiking, riding motorcycles, rock climbing, surfing and socializing at bars.

I am clean and organized but not bothered by a small amount of disorder. I cook many of my meals and would be happy to cook for others as well. I smoke on occasion but very rarely at my apartment.

I would like to live with several other people around my age who also enjoy socializing and meeting new people.
