Are you not just looking for one room, but two and a terrace and an idyllic garden as well?
Then these are your new shared rooms!
We are Bhargavi (she/him) and Charlie (they/them) and are looking for a new roommate.
The offered place consists of two rooms. The large room is a connecting room to get to the small one. Both rooms were renovated a few years ago. A new vinyl floor was laid in the large room and the softwood floorboards were refinished in the small room. The rooms are very bright thanks to the two large windows in each room and the colour of the walls and floors. The large room is approx. 13m² and the small one is approx. 8m². The roof was completely re-covered and insulated 9 years ago. There is a night storage heater in every room. The house has a living space of 80sqm, the property itself has 560sqm. The house is completely surrounded by the garden. In addition to some fruit trees and the terrace, there is a pond and a grill.
There is a large kitchen in the house with a dishwasher and everything else you need for cooking and eating.
The bathroom has a bathtub with an integrated shower. There is also a washing machine.
It is very quiet here and there is always a parking space in front of or next to the house.
It is 350m to the next supermarket (Edeka), 450m to the next tram stop (line 4) and 1000m to the forest. It's a great place to go running.... ;) It's 20 to 30 minutes by bike to the city center.
Life in a shared apartment has always been very relaxed and uncomplicated. Bhargavi (she/him, 20 years old) and Charlie (they/them, 24 years old) currently live here. Bhargavi just moved in the house in March and is doing a bachelors in Buisness. Bhargavi loves crotcheting, knitting, watching TV shows and cooking. Charlie has lived in the house since October last year and works in autism therapy. Charlie enjoys painting, being outdoors and playing the violin. We share food and like to cook together or for each other.
The shared apartment also includes two cats. These are fed once in the morning and once in the evening. This means we have to communicate about who is in and can feed them when. Also you shouldn't have a cat allergy. There is also an enclosure in the garden with turtles, which have always been part of the house. Here, too, it is our responsibility to feed them in the morning when they are not hibernating.
The additional costs are an estimate and are calculated from the average of the last two years, whereby the number of people was also taken into account. This includes electricity, water, waste, internet with WiFi and GEZ. The additional costs are then billed variably at the end of the year or when you move out, depending on what the shared apartment has used. Of course, at the moment it is not possible to predict how much electricity prices will rise. We don't use gas for that, so at least you won't be affected by a possible gas shortage in winter.
The room can be rented from July 1st, although it may become available from June 15th. The exact move-in date can be discussed individually.
If you feel you would be a good match please write us a message with a description of yourself and what is important to you living in a shared place.
We look forward to your message
Bhargavi and Charlie
