The listing is a corner room on the upper floor of the building. The room is 13m large. Interesting features in the room include a small exposed timber beam which shows the age of the historic building. Within the shared flat are three other rooms. The view from this room faces North west and over looks Stuttgart Mitte down through the valley. There is a possibility for me to leave my furniture for a flat fee of 100 euros. This includes the full size bed, a desk and chair, shoe storage, storage cubby, and lounge chair. You can also choose not to take the furniture and I can sell elsewhere.
Located one street above Marienplatz and being on the upper floor makes this room quiet of noise but only a few minutes walk to the activities, bars, and restaurants below. There are grocery stores within a 4 minute walk, REWE is open until midnight here as well. Public transportation is also only a 4 minute walk where you can catch the U-bahn metro rail or bus. The neighborhood is Stuttgart south which is comprised of many small boutique style coffee shops, and lounges.
Within the flat live three other renters. Jakob, a 31 year old graduate in Engineering. David, a 22 year old student studying Biomedical engineering. Within the flat both German and English are spoken. But you would be surprised by the amount of languages known here. We are very respectful in maintaining a clean living environment here. We have allocated spaces in the kitchen and bathroom for our personal belongings.
In terms of lifestyle, Jakob is athletic, has a vast knowledge is art, music, and culture. David enjoys formula one racing and is a very kind person.
There is a 900 euro deposit. and a 200 euro non refundable fee that goes into fixing anything that breaks ie. plumbing etc.
Rent is due first of the month. The total rent per month is 510 euros (370 rent+ 140 utilities)
The reason the flat is only available until the end of February is because the landlord will be renovating the flat and major construction will prevent tenants from being able to continue living here.
