The room is 16 square meters large and has a high ceiling. Thats why an elevated wooden sleeping area with additional space was built into it (see pictures). The additional area can be used as storage or to place a couch area on high ground.
Due to this wooden structure, there is lots of space in this room.
The window goes out to the court behind the house, so it is very quiet.
The shared flat is located in the city center and almost directly at the Mosel and the Römerbrücke (<1 minute walk), where you can go for a walk, jog, have a barbecue or plainly relax and enjoy the bright summer sun!
The next bus station (Barbaraufer/Römerbrücke) is located directly on the other side of the avenue, so you can reach it in less than a minute's walk. From here, busses go to e.g. Porta Nigra (“downtown”). In a 5 minute's walk you reach the Rathaus and it's bus station Rathaus/Stadttheater. From here busses to the university leave every 10 minutes, important stations like the main train station (Bahnhof) and Treveris are also frequented a lot.
It takes little more than 5 minutes to walk to Viehmarktplatz and thus arrive in the pedestrian area where all the shopping possibilities and bars are. In 10-15 minutes you reach Hauptmarkt.
In about 5 minutes walking distance are Kaufland (Trier West), Aldi (pedestrian area) and Nahkauf (Karl-Marx-Haus), 2 minutes more and you arrive at Rewe (Trier Galerie)
The flat is perfect for commuters to Luxembourg as well, because you are instantly on the B49 and the parking possibilities are great.
Another flatmate is moving out too, due to having finished his studies and earned his degree. This means you will be able to actively shape what living together means in this flat. Our 3rd (and maybe your future) flatmate is named Conny, is 24 years old and working.
The flat is already fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, two refrigerators with freezers, stove, oven, microwave and coffee machine (as well as loads of plates etc.). The room from where your individual rooms are entered is in use as a cozy dining area.
To this flat belongs a basement where bicycles and unused equipment can be stored, there is lots of space here. Cars, if available, can be parked on the neighboring court, which always has free parking spots.
At the moment, smoking is restricted to smoking inside your own room. Of course you can change this to liking.
The structure for the elevated sleeping area will of course stay. If you need a slatted frame or a desk, we can negotiate about those, too. We would then need to also discuss a down payment.
Rental deposit is 340€.
Rent is 335€ including everything (Internet etc. included)
