Günstiges Zimmer in netter 8er-WG mitten in der Altstadt

Wir wohnen direkt in der Altstadt zwischen Holzmarkt und Marktplatz, also sehr zentral. In unserem Keller befindet sich die Cocktailbar Asmara. Sonst ist noch ein Hallhuber auf zwei Etagen unter uns und darüber eine Zahnarztpraxis. Wir wohnen im 4. Stock - nur Treppen kein Aufzug. Im 5. Stock befindet sich noch eine kleine 2er-WG, die über eine Treppe an uns angeschlossen, aber sonst eigenständig ist.

Bahn und Bus erreicht man innerhalb von 5 - 10 Minuten. Wer ein Auto hat... parken ist hier direkt nicht möglich. Wenn dann einen Bewohnerparkausweise für das Gebiet holen (ist nicht so teuer). Einkaufen kann man bei Edeka im Nonnenhaus oder beim Löwenladen (beides keine 5 min zu Fuß).

We live in the old town's heart between Holzmarkt and Marktplatz. There's a cocktailbar (Asmara) in the cellar, a fashion store (Hallhuber) on the1st and 2nd floor, a dentist on the 3rd and the flat is on the 4th floor. Stairs only, no elevator. On the 5th is another, separate shared flat with 2 people which is connected to ours by a staircase.

Trains and busses are easily reached within 5-10 min. Shopping can be done within 5 min walking distance. For those of you owning a car - it's not possible to park directly in front of the flat. Get a resident parking permission for parking somewhere close.

If you are *very* sensitive to noise, please consider that it can get a little loud at times due to the nightlife outside.

Wir sind eine bunt gemischt WG. Die meisten von uns sind Studenten, manche arbeiten. Von den Studenten studiert eigentlich niemand das Gleiche. Zurzeit sind wir 3 Frauen und 5 Männer. Wir streben 50 / 50 an, klappt aber nicht immer.

In unsrer WG ist fast immer jemand da zum quatschen. Wer seine Ruhe haben will, kann sich aber auch zurückziehen. Für 8 Leute ist es hier relativ ruhig. Es gibt keine verpflichtenden Spieleabende, Tatort-Runden usw. Wir sind jedoch keine Zweck-WG. Zusammen kochen oder Dinge unternehmen machen wir spontan, wer gerade Lust und Zeit hat. Ein Wohnzimmer haben wir auch ;) Außerdem noch ein Netflix-Abo und eins der "Zeit".

Bäder gibt es 2, ein großes und ein kleines. Eine Abstellkammer für Fahrräder haben wir auch. Allerdings oben in der WG und nicht unten im Keller.

We are a rather heterogeneous flat. Most of us are students, some of us have a regular job. None of the students have the same subjects. Curently we are 3 girls and 5 guys. Trying to maintain a balance but it isn't always possible.

There's almost always someone around to talk to in the flat. In case you need some peace and quiet that's also fine though. For 8 people its comparatively calm here. There are no obligatory board-game evenings etc. but we don't want you to live in your room like a ghost. There is a living room next to the kitchen for getting together, eating or playing on the Playstation ;) We also receive the weekly German "Times".

There are 2 bathrooms, a big and a small one. Also a little chamber for storing stuff like your bike. But its upstairs not in the cellar.

Der Vermieter hat uns auf Ende des Jahres gekündigt weil er mehr Geld mit der Wohnung verdienen will. Allerdings sind wir beim Mieterschutzbund uns wurde versichert, dass er damit nicht durchkommen wird. Selbst wenn wir vor Gericht gehen müssen und verlieren sind die Kosten für uns sehr gering.

Wir werden ein Casting veranstalten Ende April, zu dem ich dann einladen. Es werden leider nicht alle von uns da sein können, weil es schwer ist alle zur gleichen Zeit an einen Tisch zu bekommen. Schreib bitte ein bisschen was zu dir. Es muss (und sollte auch) kein Roman sein. Name, Alter, Tätigkeit (soll heißen Beruf, Studium / Ausbildung Sonstiges), Interessen aber mindestens.

Our landlord wants to kick us out by the end of the year because he wants to earn more money. However, we are Tenants' Protection Association members and they assured us that we'll be able to stay. Even if we have to go to court and lose, the cost for everyone is negligible.

We will invite you to a casting by the End of April. Unfortunately not everyone will be around because it's hard to assemble everybody on the same evening.
