Hallo ihr Wohnungssuchenden!
In unserer 6er WG im selbstverwalteten Geisswegwohnheim wird ab dem ersten September ein Zimmer für ausländische Studierende frei. Das heißt, ihr braucht erstens eine Immatrikulation an der Uni Tübingen für nächstes Semester und noch Wohnzeit (!) und zweitens eine nicht-deutsche Staatsbürgerschaft. Wir suchen bevorzugt jemanden der mindestens ein Jahr, oder besser noch länger, vorhat in Tübingen zu studieren.
Das Zimmer hat ~13m², und ist mit einem Schreibtisch, Bett und Regal möbliert, einen Schrank könnt ihr auch noch aus den Beständen hier haben. Dein Zimmer hat einen eigenen Internetanschluss (Uni-Netz also sehr schnell) und ein Fenster zur Straße und nicht zum Innenhof, wodurch es relativ leise gelegen ist.
Die WG besteht aus einer gemütlichen, zentralen Wohnküche und 2 Fluren mit je 3 Zimmern, separaten Dusche und Toiletten.

We have a room available in our 6 people flat in the "self-managed" Geissweg Dormitory from september 1st. The room is specifically for foreign students, so you need to basic things: one, be enrolled at Tübingen University for the upcoming semester having not yet spent (wasted) 6 semesters in dorms of the Studentenwerk Tübingen (have residential time!) and two, you need a non German passport. We are looking preferably for someone who plans on staying at least a year or better yet for a full degree.
The room is ~13m² and has a desk, bed, a shelf and we can organize you a cupboard should you need one. Your room has a internet connection (university network so it is super fast) and a window looking out towards the street and not the patio so it is actually pretty quiet.
The flat itself consists of a comfy central livingroom/ kitchen and 2 corridors with 3 rooms, a seperate shower and bathroom each.

Das Geisswegwohnheim liegt zu Fuß etwa 10 Minuten von Innenstadt und den zentralen Uni-Gebäuden entfernt, die nächsten Bushaltestellen sind sogar nur 2-3 Minuten entfernt. Die Busverbindungen sowohl auf den Berg als auch in die Stadt sind sehr gut.
Der Geissweg selbst sind 5 Häuser die um einen Innenhof gebaut sind. Der Hof eignet sich perfekt zum Grillen, Abhängen und neue Leute Kennenlernen. Außerdem gibt es hinter dem Haus noch einen ruhigeren Garten.
The Geissweg is situated pretty conveniently. It is about 10 minutes by foot to city center and the central university library, the closest bus stops are only 2-3 mintues away. The connections both up the hill and down into city center are quite good.
The Geissweg itself consists of 5 houses built around a patio. Perfectly suited for barbecues and chilling on the terrace it is the place to hang out and get to know your new homies. Additionally, we have a arden behind the house if you need a quieter spot for once.
Wie gesagt, Umbruch und so; bis Oktober werden wohl noch 3 weitere Zimmer frei. Aber wir waren immer der Gegenentwurf zur Zweck-WG und die Übriggebliebenen Philipp & Coco freuen sich, wenn du nicht nur ihnen wohnst, sondern auch bei all den anderen Sachen wie Kochactions, Sport, Brettspielabenden, Jodeln (ja Coco ist aus Bayern & Philipp hat ein Jodeldiplom), die so ein WG-Leben ausmachen, dabei bist. Wir studieren die unterschiedlichsten Dinge und sind schon gespannt wie du unsere WG aufpeppst und unseren mageren Horizont erweiterst.

Our flat is going to change in the next moths as several people are gonna move out But the ones who stay, Philipp and Coco do not only want to share a flat with you but look forward to living together with you doing all the things like cooking, sports, board games, yodelling (Coco is from Bavaria after all ;), ... you name it, that make our flat the homely place that it is. We are studying in all kind of degrees and are excited what you will bring to our little community.
BTW, Dresscode: Adilettes 😉
