Since our current flatmate Valeska is soon going to leave Tübingen, we’re looking for a new flat mate for our shared house (WG in German) from February 2022.
Room:
The available room is approximately 12 square metres, on the second floor and has wooden flooring. The rent is approximately 310€ (including utilities). Furniture such as the bed, table etc. can also be purchased from the previous flatmate. Some additional furniture is also available in the house, and can be used if needed. The move in date is 1st February 2022, but an earlier date can also be possible upon discussion.
The house forms the southern boundary of the Max Planck Campus Tübingen, and the Max Planck Institutes are a 1-2 minutes walking distance from the house. The closest bus stops (Correnstraße, Max-Planck-Institute, Ochsenweide) are all within 5 minutes walking distance and are served by lines 3, 4 and 17, with regular connections to the Old Town, train station, WHO, the clinics and southern part of Tübingen (Südstadt).
Apartment:
It is a family house with 5 rooms, a kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom with toilet, and an attic, spread over three floors. The apartment also has a large basement with a boiler room, and a backyard garden, which can be accessed without going through the house. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, oven, 2 refrigerators, a large freezer, ample storage space and a dining table.
Flat mates:
Your potential future flatmates would be Souha (from Tunisia), Tobias (from Germany) and Devansh (from India). Souha is pursuing her masters in Tübingen in biomedical engineering, and Tobias and Devansh are PhD students at the MPI-DB. We are all cheerful and easy-going persons, and are looking for similarly minded individuals as potential flat mates, for long term. A basic understanding of communicative English is preferred. Masters and PhD students are preferred but that’s definitely not a deciding criteria.
