Hi! I am slowly transiting to another city and I would like to sublet my room in our 4-room shared flat. The moving date is still flexible, the soonest possible date to move is 20th February or you can move in March. I would sublet the room for the first couple of months while I'm dealing with contract in Berlin and later possibility of extension to long term.
The room is quiet. It's facing the backyard with morning sun. It is partially furnished, but later once your name is in the contract you are completely free to furnish it as you wish, good for slowly settling in.
The apartment is close to the city center (it is less than 10 minute walk to Theaterplatz and shopping facilities such as Lidl, Rewe and Edeka are also not far away). The nearest bus stop is a two-minute walk away. The HfM and Bauhaus University are less than 15 minutes away. If you like coffee, Röstbrüder is our neighbor :)
You will get to live with Lefteris who is a sound artist currently doing phd and working at Bauhuas Uni, Rafael graduated and pursuing his career in engineering, and Giovanni who is doing his master in urban studies. We live in a very relaxed and quiet atmosphere. We cook together from time to time, and everyone has their own space. We speak mainly English in the shared flat, sometimes Portuguese between the two Brazilians (Rafael and Giovanni). If you're interested to learn some Greek you can also become a conversation partner with Lefteris. We like to exchange our cultural knowledge in a household.
We share cleaning tasks and buying communal products (mostly cleaning product such as dishwasher, toilet paper etc.) among the WG to make sure that everybody equally takes good care of the shared spaces and keep things clean.
Our shared flat is really well equipped. We have all the basic utensils for cooking including a microwave, and a dishwasher.
There is a separate WC and a bathroom with shower, bathtub, WC and washing machine. Both bathrooms have windows.
If you have a bicycle, you can park it safely in the courtyard.
