Hey there :)
I am looking for someone to sublease my room in our wonderful flatshare from September to January (5 months), while I do my internship in Germany.
** Please note that there is a high chance you can stay longer than this as one of us will likely leave our flat in January.
The room is 14qm and fully equiped. In front of your room you have your own part of our big balcony, where you’ll have sun in the late afternoon and evening.
The flat has a huge kitchen and living area, with 2 sofas, a tv and lots of space to roll out a yogamat or play with the dog (yes theres a dog living with us, his name is Emil and he loves to cuddle and is the most chill dog ever)
As we are six people, its really nice that our flat has 2 toilets and 3 bathrooms, so you’ll be sharing your bathroom only with one other person.
Outside of the livingroom we have another balcony thats used by all 6 of us. There you can enjoy the morningsun and we also have some herbs and tomatoes out there.
The flat is located in the 2nd district is less than a 10-minute bike ride from some of Vienna's best spots, including the Donau-Insel, Donau Canal and Augarten.
It takes less than 10 minutes walking to get to U1 Vorgartenstraße or 15 minutes to U2 Praterstern. Otherwise there are tram stops nearer the house (3 min. away) including O-Bahn Bruno-Marek-Allee.
We are surounder by all the supermarkets in under 10 minutes walking-distance and have a big park directly in front of our house.
There's always something happening, and we're looking for someone who already has experience living in shared apartments and fits into our colorful crew! 🎉
The flat is spacious and offers plenty of room for everyone. We are a diverse mix of full-time students and professionals: Elisa (25), Helena (25), David (25), Felicity (21) and Theo (29)! David is a software engineer and Theo is a bar-keeper, both rocking their full-time jobs. Felicity is currently doing an internship and is thinking about starting her Master’s soon. Elisa is in her 2nd semester of gender studies and is passionately pursuing a career in acting on the side (Oscar is on its way). Helena is also a full-time student, studying comparative biomedicine and brought our 7th roommate, the adorable Emil, to the flat. Emil is a Border Collie who loves long walks and cuddle sessions! 🐶❤️
Generally you could describe us as a sociable bunch of people, that enjoys having friends over occasionally (if thats fine with the rest), eating dinner together and borrowing each-others (oat)milk is never a big deal (if you ask in advance). So basically we like to take part in each others lives and are looking for a new roommate that shares a similar idea of co-living. As we are 6 people sharing a flat, it's important to us that you feel comfortable with communicating your needs and it's also never a problem to not join the wg-action and spend some time alone.
