Dear room-seekers,
A room in our shared flat will be available from the beginning of August. The room measures approx. 14 square metres and is located in a modern new flat, which has a large living room/kitchen and balcony as well as two separate bathrooms. The flat is on the 7th floor (don't panic, there is an elevator) and has a magnificent view over the roofs of Vienna - including a view of the Kahlenberg. The room has a big wardrobe, desk, lamp and a set of shelves. All these things would stay in the room for free. The bed (pallets and mattress) as well as the chair are NOT staying in the room, so you would need to bring/buy your own.
The location is ideal. The apartment is located in the middle of the Stuwerviertel (second district of Vienna) - so both very close to the center and close to numerous green spaces. The Danube / Danube Island is within five minutes walking distance and it takes not much longer to the Prater. The public transport connection is also very good. There are two subway stations within a radius of 400 meters (Messe Prater/U2 and Vorgartenstraße/U1). In addition, the 11A/B bus stops almost directly in front of the front door. So you can reach Praterstern in only 10 minutes and Stephansplatz in 15 minutes. Within walking distance is the Vorgartenmarkt, where there are good organic markets and great places to eat (for example, the Mochi Ramen is quite famous). Local suppliers and supermarkets are also very easy to reach on foot. Two Hofer stores, Lidl, Spar, Penny, Billa, Eurospar and a Turkish supermarket are in close proximity to the apartment. So shopping bags don't have to be dragged too far.
The flat is a shared flat for 4 people. Your future flatmates would definitely be Chris and Valeria, and a new flatmate who is still not confirmed yet, but most probably a young female student. We are looking for a fourth woman. We are all between our mid 20's and mid 30's. Since we are all quite busy with education and work it is quite quiet in our shared flat. Cooking together is welcome, we like our free space, but we are also happy to chat and spend time together in the evening. Cleanliness and order are very important to us.
We are looking for an uncomplicated, open-minded roommate who enjoys spending time alone as well as enriching the shared apartment with good mood and sociability.
