Our lovely WG-family is searching for a new member from April (possible a bit earlier upon agreement)!
Since our beloved Hangi decided to live in an even bigger WG, we are looking for someone as amazing as her to take over the room. We are a big international WG family living in the 2nd district, just 5 minutes away from Schwedenplatz. We come from all around the world and would love to welcome an open minded and outgoing person, who would also like to hang out with us :)
The room is approx. 12m2, overlooks an external quiet street and it´s pretty bright thanks to a large window. Our whole WG is an Altbau, so the ceilings are very high, making the room and the whole appartment feel very spacious.
The room is very welcoming and cosy and comes with furniture (huuge bad, desk, warderobe and a shelf) to take over for 400€, all in an excellent shape.
The flat is 5 minutes away from Schwedenplatz (U1/U4), 5 minutes from Taborstraße (U2), the bus 5A is basically in front of our door and the Straßenbahn 2 is just across the street. You can reach Stephansplatz in about 10 minutes on foot.
We have Billa, Spar, Hofer, dm and Bipa in a walkable distance. There are a few cute cafés and restaurants around, that we used to enjoy before the eternal lockdown... Ehm...
There is a market on Saturday mornings two minutes from the apartment at the Karmelitermarkt. The area is generally calm despite being very central and close to streets with various businesses.
The apartment has 7 bedrooms, 2 showers, 2 toilets, 1 kitchen and 2 living rooms, and a room for hanging and washing clothes. All this gives us enough space to be with each other, but also have our private little quarters.
We are currently 3 girls and 3 guys - Spanish, Slovak and Hungarian girls and Czech, Italian and (kind of) Bosnian guys.
This allows us to live in a pleasant atmosphere full of cultures, from time to time we try to organize dinners or lunches with typical dishes or get together for a movie, have a (few) beers or a glass of wine!
We are both workers, for the most part, and students, so the apartment is often quiet and uncrowded, in the evening everyone comes home at different times.
For the contract we will put you in contact with the agency that manages the apartment. The deposit is 1200 euros, plus 100 euros to change the contract and 200 euros for managing the assistance service in case of need.
We will be happy to get to know you better and show you who we all actually are. Write us a bit about yourself so we get the feeling of who you are and if we fit together.
