The rent of 500€ includes everything (rent, heat, electricity and internet).
The room has a beautiful big window and a loft bed that was built in three years ago. In that way the room is very spacious. There is already furniture in the room, if you want you can add some or use different ones of course.
The other rooms in the flat are a spacious hall, a big bathroom with a separated toilet and a kitchen with a dining area. The flat is located on the first floor (but actually the second since there is a Mezzanin). All windows look towards the courtyard and also the street is not very busy so it's super silent in the flat!
The flat is located close to the city centre but at the same time in a very green area with the Augarten park in five minutes walking distance, the Prater park in 10, and the Danube Island is easily reachable with the bike (10 mins) or with the underground (just some stops). The underground nr. 2 and the tramways nr. 1, 2 and 5 are just around the corner, the busses nr. 5B and N29 are just 3 minutes away and the Praterstern railway station with trains and the underground U1 is also in walking distance (8 minutes).
After our longtime roommate is moving out, we are looking for someone to share this beautiful apartment with us. Who are we? Betty and Samuel, a couple, 26 and 31 years old. We are both in the process of completing our masters in nature conservation and have been working freelance and employed as biologists for some time. We are two nature-loving entomologists - if you are uncomfortable with the thought of seeing insects in the apartment from time to time (of course not roaming around freely 😁) then this flat might not be for you. But if you are interested in nature and want to hear exciting things about it, then you are in the right place. Also if you enjoy cooking, eating and drinking one or more glasses together from time to time! We are also both sporty - enjoying climbing, cycling, running - and interested in music. As we are both learning Spanish and have just traveled to Ecuador earlier this year we would like to practice our Spanish and would love to have someone to speak Spanish with us!!
The room is available from beginning of October until either end of February or end of September 2024.
There is space to lock bikes in the courtyard.
