Das Zimmer ist nur 10 qm2 groß, dank der pragmatischen Ausstattung hat man aber viel Lebensraum und Flexibilität. Mit einem zerlegbaren Doppelbett, großem Nachtkästchen, ausziehbarem Tisch, bequemer Arbeitsstuhl und Kommode hat man eigentlich alles was man zum Leben und gemütlichen Arbeiten braucht (sollten intensive Homeoffice Zeiten rückkehren…). Zu dem allem hat man eine große Garderobe, die viel Lagerkapazität bietet. Der massive Fenstervorhang, Blumen und Gemälde machen aus dem Zimmer eine echte Seelenoase, wo man sich rückziehen und in der Ruhe lesen/basteln/arbeiten kann. Falls einem das Zimmer aber doch viel zu klein wird kann man sich in dem gemütlichen Wohnzimmer mit Soundanlage, Esstisch, Couchecke und voll ausgestatteter Küche hinsetzen. Außerdem haben wir in der Wohnung ein großes Bad mit Waschmaschine, ein separates WC und ein wunderschöner ruhiger Balkon, der zum Hof ausgerichtet ist.

The room is only 10 qm2 big, however, its practical design provides a lot of flexibility and living space. With a stackable double-bed, big bedside commode, extendable table, comfy chair and commode for clothes, one has everything he/she needs for living as well as productive working (shall the times of intense home-office come again next year). Moreover, there is a separate "cloakroom" with bunch of storage capacity. The massive window curtain, the flowers and the painting make the room a true soul oasis, where one can retreat and read/handcraft/work in peace. However, shall the room get too small for you, you can chill in the cozy living room with sound system, dining table, couch corner and fully equipped kitchen. In addition to that, the WG exhibits a large bathroom with washing machine, a separate toilet and a beautiful, quiet balcony facing the courtyard.

Die Lage der WG ist klasse: Von unserer WG in der Novaragasse (Einbahnstraße) ist man in <1 Minute
an der U-Bahn Station "Taborstraße". Zum grünen Augarten läuft man 5 Minuten, auch Prater und
Donaukanal sind sehr nah. Auch alle wichtigen Supermärkte (Spar, Hofer, Penny, Billa, Denn‘s) und 3
Wochenmärkte (Karamelitermarkt, Volkertmarkt, Hannovermarkt) sind in der Nähe.

The loca is extremely good: you can reach the U-Bahn Station "Taborstraße" in < 1 min walking distance. The flat is also very close (~5 min) to the best green hot-spots of Vienna (Augarten, Prater and Donaukanal). All of the important supermarkets (Spar, Hofer, Penny, Billa, Denn‘s) as well as 3 open markets (Karamelitermarkt, Volkertmarkt, Hannovermarkt) also lie in the close vicinity.

In unserer WG geht jeder seinen Interessen und Aktivitäten nach, aber am Abend kommen wir oft im
Wohnzimmer zusammen, zum Kochen und Plaudern. Flo, lebt schon am längsten in der WG und ist vor
fast 5 Jahren nach Wien gezogen. Mittlerweile arbeitet er für die Stadt Wien im Bereich
Stadtentwicklung/Klimathemen. In seiner Freizeit findet man in beim Lesen in Parks/Kaffeehäuser,
beim Yoga oder in der Kletterhalle. Am Wochenende ist er viel in den Bergen unterwegs: Felsklettern,
Wandern, Skitouren...Und jetzt auch mal wieder zum ausgiebigen Feiern 😉. Lisi ist vor ein paar Monaten eingezogen und ist voll die liebe, lebendige und kreative Seele. Sie arbeitet in sozialem Bereich und ist nach der Arbeit noch oft sehr aktiv (geht laufen oder schwimmen am Donau, kocht, trifft sich mit Freunden/Freundinnen). Zu ihrer Freizeitaktivitäten gehören basteln (malen, nähen, ...), Gitarre spielen und Bücher lesen.

We all have our own interests and activities, however, in the evening we often gather in our "social space" (an open kitchen, dining and living room), cooking and discussing our daily digest. Flo's been in the WG since he first moved to Vienna, which is going to be 5 years now. He works for the city (sustainable development and climate questions). In his free time, you can find him reading in the parks/cafes, practicing Yoga or climbing. On the weekends, he enjoys getting out and exploring the nature: climbing, hiking or ski-touring. Thanks to his work, he is always up-to-date with the Viennese social events/happenings. Lisi moved in few months ago and is an extremely kind, lively and creative soul. She works in the social sphere and is typically very active after work - going running, swimming at the Donau, cooking, meeting friends). In her free time, she loves to handcraft (painting, sewing...), play a guitar, and read books.
