Cozy Flatshare near Belevedere/Swiss Gardens/Gemütliche Wohngemeinschaft nahe Belevedere/Schweizer Gärten

The location is absolutely ideal, as w e live right next to the Swiss Garden (Park), the Botanical Garden and not far away from Belvedere Palace. So there is always the possibility to sit down a bit in the countryside from spring to autumn, to learn in the park, to meet with friends for sports, or to just enjoy a bit of city nature.

Nearest tram station: Stop Fasangasse Line 0 (right outside the front door) and Line 18 (1 minute), the D and 18 also run just around the corner.

Nearest S-Bahn stations: Quartier Belvedere (5 minutes), Rennweg (5 minutes), U-Bahn/Bahnhof: U1 / Hauptbahnhof Wien (10 min)

Wir wohnen direkt neben dem Schweizer Garten (Park), dem Botanischen Garten und nicht weit vom Schloss Belvedere entfernt. So gibt es von Frühling bis Herbst immer wieder die Möglichkeit, sich ein bisschen ins Grüne zu setzen, im Park zu lernen, sich mit Freunden zum Sport zu treffen oder einfach ein bisschen Stadtnatur zu genießen.

We are looking for a nice person who is open, uncomplicated, and willing to contribute to a harmonious WG existence☺️. Since we have only recently been living in this constellation, we do not yet have fixed routines or schedules for taking care of the flat. Usually, all our interactions are rather spontaneous and depend on how communicative we currently are. When we are in the mood, we chat in the kitchen, but we also appreciate our privacy and "me-time" very much. We are always open to new ideas about our coexistence (whether technical or social) and look forward to good input 🌞

As an added bonus, Felix's delightful Shiba Inu doggo companion, Yoko, will be living at the flat with us. She is really very relaxed and has been described as "more of a cat than a dog" by those that know her well.

In the past we organized the cleaning with an app called Flatastic, but we are open to other suggestions on this as well. It's important to us that everyone contributes to a decently clean flat in which everyone can feel at home, and how this is accomplished is not so important :)

As it's an older building, we see this brand-new constellation as an opportunity to remake the flat to really suit us. We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have any craft/design ideas or experience!


A little bit about us:

Ben (34) moved to Vienna last fall and works full-time as a researcher. He is originally from the USA and completed his Master's degree in Development Studies in Passau. In his spare time, he likes to do sports (especially running), read, have a few (sometimes a few too many ;)) drinks, and work on craft projects for his room or the shared space in the flat.

Dedah (32) is currently a full-time student of international tourism management in Bad Vöslau. She is an extroverted person and loves to socialize. Monday through Friday she is busy with university, and she typically works on the weekends.

Felix (30) is originally from Nuremberg, but has been in Vienna for 6 years now. He just started a new job close to the flat and is quite immersed in it at the moment. When he is not at work he likes to cook and tries to work out. On the weekend he usually likes to go out with friends. With him lives Yoko - the flat Shiba Inu. Yoko is turning 12 this April and is more of a cat than a dog. Likes to be in the flat and is not a big fan of bad weather. She takes quite some time getting used to, but is a lot of fun.

Wir suchen einen netten Menschen, der offen, unkompliziert und bereit ist, zu einem harmonischen WG-Dasein beizutragen☺️. Da wir erst seit kurzem in dieser Konstellation leben, haben wir noch keine festen Routinen oder Zeitpläne für die Betreuung der Wohnung. Normalerweise sind alle unsere Interaktionen eher spontan und hängen davon ab, wie kommunikativ wir gerade sind. Wenn wir in Stimmung sind, plaudern wir in der Küche, aber wir schätzen auch unsere Privatsphäre und "Me-Time" sehr. Wir sind immer offen für neue Ideen zu unserem Zusammenleben (ob technisch oder sozial) und freuen uns über guten Input 🌞.

Bitte denkt daran, dass Felix' entzückende Shiba Inu-Hundegefährtin Yoko mit uns in der Wohnung leben wird. Sie ist wirklich sehr entspannt und wird von denjenigen, die sie gut kennen, als "eher eine Katze als ein Hund" beschrieben.

In der Vergangenheit haben wir die Reinigung mit einer App namens Flatastic organisiert, aber wir sind auch offen für andere Vorschläge dazu. Uns ist es wichtig, dass jeder zu einer anständig sauberen Wohnung beiträgt, in der sich jeder wohlfühlen kann, und wie das erreicht wird, ist nicht so wichtig :)

Da es sich um ein älteres Gebäude handelt, sehen wir diese brandneue Konstellation als Chance, die Wohnung so umzugestalten, dass sie wirklich zu uns passt. Wir sind besonders daran interessiert, von Ihnen zu hören, wenn Sie handwerkliche/gestalterische Ideen oder Erfahrungen haben!


Ein bisschen was über uns:

Ben (34) ist letzten Herbst nach Wien gezogen und arbeitet hauptberuflich als Forscher. Er kommt ursprünglich aus den USA und hat seinen Master in Development Studies in Passau gemacht. In seiner Freizeit treibt er gerne Sport (vor allem Laufen), liest, trinkt ein paar (manchmal ein paar zu viel ;)) und bastelt an Projekten für sein Zimmer oder den Gemeinschaftsraum in der Wohnung.

Dedah (32) ist derzeit Vollzeitstudentin für internationales Tourismusmanagement in Bad Vöslau. Sie ist ein extrovertierter Mensch und liebt es, Kontakte zu knüpfen. Von Montag bis Freitag ist sie mit der Universität beschäftigt, am Wochenende arbeitet sie normalerweise. Sie kehrt oft nach Niederösterreich zurück, um ihre Eltern und Geschwister zu besuchen.

Felix (30) kommt ursprünglich aus Nürnberg, lebt aber schon seit 6 Jahren in Wien. Er hat gerade einen neuen Job in der Nähe der Wohnung angefangen und ist im Moment ziemlich vertieft in die Arbeit. Wenn er nicht bei der Arbeit ist, kocht er gerne und versucht zu trainieren. Am Wochenende geht er normalerweise gerne mit Freunden aus. Mit ihm lebt Yoko - der Shiba Inu der Wohnung. Yoko wird diesen April 12 Jahre alt und ist eher eine Katze als ein Hund. Sie hält sich gerne in der Wohnung auf und ist kein großer Fan von schlechtem Wetter. Es dauert eine Weile, bis man sich an sie gewöhnt hat, aber sie macht sehr viel Spaß.
