Since I will not be spending my summer in Vienna, I'd like to offer my 28m2 room in a beautiful old-fashioned apartment for rent. The overall rent will be: 600€ (WLAN, power and gas included).
Your room is bright, quiet and has a nice bay window. It is therefore ideally suited for students as well as for work professionals. Furthermore, the furniture will stay so you'll have enough space for your belongings (bed, side board, one side of a 2m PAX closet, sofa, hanging chair, dresser, carpets etc.). Depending on how much space we need we can make arrangements accordingly.
The whole flat is 74m2 in size and fully equipped with dishwasher, fitted kitchen, washing machine, bathtub, storage room, wifi, separate toilet and your also separately accessible 28m2 room. Of course you will be able to use all the kitchen appliances and the vacuum cleaner as well.
It is located in the fourth district only 5 mins away from the main train station, it also only takes you 5 mins to get to the subway (Südtirolerplatz/Hauptbahnhof), and the bus stop (Rainergasse) is basically in front of the building. Also the Tram 1 and 18 (Blechturmgasse) are just a few minutes away.
This great location allows you to get to the University WU Vienna in 35 mins or to the University of Vienna in 25 mins.
The district is generally known as very safe, you will also find well known locations like the Belvedere palace or the Naschmarkt in 15-20 mins walking distance. Furthermore, several cafés, restaurant spots, grocery stores, a gym and parks are located nearby. A new café just opened in our building as well!
Shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity: Billa (2min), pharmacy (3min), Hofer (8min), Bipa (3min), DM (5min).
You will be sharing your flat with Jutta, 26 year old, student and is working full-time. She is a very open minded person and already knows the area quite well and is happy to show you around. Other than that it is important that the shared spaces are clean and the you are living together in a respectful manner. (no party WG, sorry). For July her boyfriend Alex (29 y/o and a student/ part-time worker) will also live here, but they are sharing a room and are not here for most of the day. Also they are a very nice couple which you will also be able to meet beforehand :)
Smoking in the room is not allowed, but you can always go downstairs.
Alex also has a medium sized dog (a Collie) who will be here for some days of the week (animal lovers or at least people without allergies against dogs would be great).
