Hi :)
We are looking for a new roommate for our apartment at Margaretengürtel in 1050 Vienna, starting from the first of September. Preferably looking for a feminine person (BIPOC, immigrant friendly) who likes to communicate directly and honestly, is trustworthy and appreciates a certain level of cleanliness in the apartment but also likes to laugh about life's absurdities together while giving each other space and respect :) Since the room is quite small, we would prefer someone who is regularly commuting (pendeln).
The house has unfortunately no lift, but you get used to walking the stairs (and your ass will look super fine after some time). The room is 10 sqm big with a bunk bed situation, that adds more space to the room. Unfortunately, the only window in the room is going to the house's hallway but there is a window right in the hall for easily airing out the room. Fortunately though, the room is super quiet and cozy. The apartment is a renovated Altbau with a living room, a renovated kitchen, a bathroom (with a tub for cozy baths) and a separate toilet.
The area is great (Hundsturm). From the living room, you can oversee the Bruno-Kreisky-Park (and chill there in summer). The U4 station Margaretengürtel is 2 minutes away from the apartment. There is also the 18 and 6 tram close by and in 10 minutes by foot (2 with the tram) you are at Gumpendorfer Straße.
There is a little shop on Gumpendorfer Straße that is always open until 10 pm as also a lot of good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. 4 minutes away from the apartment are two Billas and a Hofer.
Kalkidan and me (Diana) are staying in the apartment and are looking for someone sweet, calm and responsible to share our living space with. Another room in our apartment got free too, so there will be a third person. Hopefully, we can all sit together and get to know each other before the moving in. Also, it would be important to us to clean after yourself and participate in our cleaning plan (every week someone else so it's pretty chill). We are all working and/or in the studio a lot so we are looking for someone who is also calm and sees their home space as a place to retreat and be at peace with. Which doesn't mean we never party, but when we do, we do it outside the apartment so we can give everyone the chance to feel safe and relaxed at home.
Since we are all working/studying we would prefer a FLINTA BIPOC/Immigrant person who commutes regularly.
If you are interested and/or have questions hit us up here and tell us a bit about you. We can arrange a meeting / zoom-meeting to talk in person and get to know each other.
Looking forward!
Bussi
