Your future room looks onto the quiet courtyard with a large chestnut tree. It is 13.5 square metres and faces south west meaning that it's bright the whole day and particularly sunny in the afternoon. You can even grow small tomatoes in the window! There's also storage space for you in the hallway - it's possible to have a kind of walk in closet with a commode and clothing rack there. If need be, I can furnish the room with a desk, chair and commode - I don't have an extra bed but I can help you find one.
The flat is bright and spacious (75 square meters) and is located on the 3rd floor (no lift). It's the top floor and you hardly ever hear noice from the neighbours or the street. There is a kitchen with a dining table, a large living room with a couch and a spacious hallway. There’s also a large bathroom with a bathtub and washing machine and a separate small toilet.
Also a brief disclaimer: because of the inflation the gas/energy bill went up with about 50€ per person last year. If it goes up again we would share those expenses equally and it would be cool if you are also mindful with using gas/electricity.
The flat is located in the 5th district Margareten. It takes 5 minutes to walk to Laurenzgasse (lines 1, 62, Badner Bahn) and 10 minutes to U4 Pilgramgasse. Bus 14A is just around the corner and takes you straight to Mariahilferstraße in 15 minutes. The neighbourhood is quiet but just a short walk from the cafés and shops around Margaretenstrasse. It's easy to walk to Naschmarkt and if you long for nature or want to go swimming Wienerberg is close by.
My name is Emilie, I’m 28 years old and originally from Denmark. I speak danish, english and quite alright german. I’m studying Expanded Museum Studies at the Angewandte and Kulturmanagement at the MDW. In my spare time I like to read books, watch films on mubi or trash tv on netflix. I like to meet friends for coffee, see exhibitions and browse in second hand shops. I also occasionally sell things that I’ve crocheted. In the future I would like to learn more about ceramics and textile art and explore the nature around Vienna.
I'm looking for a roommate who would like to make the flat feel like a home, watch films on the beamer and other nice things. I also enjoy alone time and respect introvert tendencies and privacy. It’s important to me that we have a thoughtful and friendly relationship and communicate well. I would like our home to be a calm, clean and beautiful base where we can recharge and relax. It would mean a lot to me, that you also care about keeping our home beautiful and clean.
The room is available from 1. October
I'm open for short term stays (4-6 months/erasmus) as well as unlimited stays.
The rent includes electricity, heating, wifi and a household insurance.
