Hello! Since our flatmate Jonas is moving out at the end of the month, we (Lewis and Lowell) are looking for someone to replace him.
The apartment is on the fourth floor of a very pretty late Jugendstil building. It has beautiful wooden floors and big windows facing southeast and northwest, so there is plenty of sunlight for most of the day. The common rooms are made up of a large hallway, a freshly renovated bathroom and separate toilet, a kitchen with lots of counter space, a little storage room, a big and mostly sun-flooded living room, and a little balcony. The entire apartment was painted late last year. All rooms are separately accessible.
The room (ca. 20 m2 in area) faces the courtyard and is accessed through the kitchen. It is spacious, with a high ceiling, and also includes a wardrobe from the last occupant that can be kept for a small fee.
Otherwise, we request that you pay a transfer fee of €100 for the use of the household appliances.

Hallo! Wir (Lewis und Lowell) suchen eine neue Mitbewohnerin bzw. neuen Mitbewohner, da unser jetziger Mitbewohner Jonas Ende Jänner auszieht.
Die Wohnung ist im vierten Stock eines Spätjugendstilhauses, hat schönes altes Fischgrätparkett und riesige Fenster in Richtung Südost und Nordwest, durch die sie die meiste Zeit sonnendurchflutet ist. Was die gemeinsamen Zimmer betrifft, gibt es ein recht geräumiges Vorzimmer, ein Bad mit großer Badewanne und ein separates WC, beide frisch renoviert, eine Küche mit reichlich Arbeitsfläche, einen kleinen Abstellraum, ein großzügiges Wohnzimmer, der Schauplatz regelmäßiger Film- und Spieleabende ist, und ein kleiner Balkon. Die Wohnung wurde Ende letzten Jahres frisch gestrichen und die Zimmer sind alle separat begehbar.
Das Zimmer (ca. 20 m2 groß) liegt zum Innenhof und ist durch die Küche zugänglich. Es ist geräumig, mit einer hohen Decke, und schließt auch eine Garderobe ein, die vom letzten Mieter gekauft werden kann.
Für Kühlschrank, Waschmaschine und Abzugshaube würden als Ablöse 100€ anfallen.

Lowell (24) is from the US and is working in Vienna as an English TA. In his free time, he plays French horn in the Uni Wien orchestra and likes to be out in nature.
Lewis (also 24) is British and does the same job as Lowell but not in Floridsdorf 🙌 In my free time I like to get out to the mountains to snowboard and watch bad movies.
We are a pretty laid-back apartment, and we don’t mind if you need some privacy. At the same time, we are always open to watching films, going out for a drink, or other shared activities if you’re up for it.
Since we both speak a lot of English as part of our job, we would be interested in someone who would be willing to speak German with us. That said, we are happy to also use English, just as long as you don’t let us get too lazy 🙂.
We would also prefer someone who values cleanliness.

Lowell (24) kommt aus den USA und arbeitet als Englisch-Lehrassistent in Wien. In seiner Freizeit spielt er Waldhorn im Uni Wien-Orchester und ist gerne draußen in der Natur.
Lewis (auch 24) kommt aus Großbritannien und macht denselben Job wie Lowell, aber nicht in Floridsdorf 🙌 In meiner Freizeit gehe ich gerne in die Berge, um Snowboard zu fahren und ich sehe gern schlechte Filme.
Wir sind eine ziemlich entspannte WG, und es stört uns nicht, wenn dir deine Privatsphäre wichtig ist. Trotzdem sind wir immer für Filmabende oder andere gemeinsame Aktivitäten zugänglich, und wir gehen mal auch gerne trinken.
Da wir beide viel Englisch im Rahmen unserer Arbeit benutzen, würden wir uns für jemanden interessieren, die/der mit uns Deutsch sprechen würde. Dennoch sprechen wir auch gerne Englisch, solange du uns nicht zu faul werden lässt 🙂.
Sauberkeit wird selbstverständlich vorausgesetzt.
