Hi, I'm Bernhard and I am going on Erasmus from mid August to mid January so I'm looking for someone (optimally an incoming Erasmus student) to take over my room in our shared flat for that duration.
It is a ~16m2 room in a ~86m2 flat in Wien Meidling with space for 3 people.
Im currently living with 2 girls (Lucia from Spain & the other one will move out before August so i can't tell you the second person yet you will live with).
The rooms are furbished, containing a desk & office chair, a wardrobe, a small bookshelf, a chair, and normally a small bed(90x200) which is owned by our landlord. I changed the bed to a bigger one (140x200) and added a bigger bookshelf which I would like to leave against a deposit.
You would get a direct contact from the landlord, so no sublet contract.
Rent is currently 350€/month including water, electricity, gas(heating), internet, waste (only 5€/month for the contribution fee from the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) has to be paid additionally).
In order to rent the flat you need to be a student!
- good connection with public transportation to basically everywhere
(5min by foot to U6 Niederhofstraße, 10min by foot to U4 Längenfeldgasse or Meidling Bhf,~10min to Wien Westbahnhof, ~20min to city center, ~20min to TU, ~40min to WU, ~35min to Uni Wien main building, 15min by foot to Schönbrunn palace)
- a lot of close (grocery) stores (5-10min to multiple bakeries, Interspar, Spar, Hofer, Billa, Meidling market, C&A, ...)
- very quiet with a big window to the inner courtyard of the house
We are an international WG, so English is mainly spoken and we sometimes cook specialties from our countries for the others to try. Apart from that and a little bit of chatting during dinner/coffee or the occasional drink together everybody is pretty busy with their life.
