Hallo!

Hi!
My name is Esther, I'm 28 and I work at the university where I teach and am working on my PhD in Science and Technology Studies. So I'm at work a lot and I like to relax at home. I like to paint oil paintings and go horseback riding regularly. Since I am separating from my long-term partner (and former flatmate) but love the apartment very much and like to live communally, I would like to set up a flat share.
I'm looking for someone who is good at respecting and communicating boundaries, not too messy, values nice living and is respectful and careful with others and their belongings. Of course, I would be happy if a friendship developed from living together in a pleasant, natural way, but I don't believe in forcing something like this through mandatory activities and appointments. Of course, I'm happy to have a good chat after work/uni, have a glass of wine or something like that in the evening or have breakfast on weekends. Flat shares should be fun and not work, I think :) Friends etc. are always welcome, of course, only on weekdays it would be good to arrange this beforehand if it gets late (because of work and stuff).

The apartment has a great view of the city, a terrace and is very well ventilated, or one can create a draft really well, which is why it is rarely too hot (there is air conditioning in the living room just in case anyway).
Plants thrive here, in part because there are skylights. Since I don't have a green thumb, but I love the look, I'd be very happy if you're good at caring for plants.
The furniture in the living room & dining room is mostly mine and will stay, but my ex-partner will take many of the large paintings, plants, all ceiling lights, rugs and some armchairs with him when he moves out. This means that you also have room to shape the communal spaces. (I'm also missing some household appliances such as mixers or vacuum cleaners, so I'm happy if you can also contribute one or the other thing)
