Helles Zimmer in 6ser WG

Von unserer Wohnung kommt man überall in sehr angenehmer Zeit hin. Es befinden sich viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie öffentliche Verkehrsmittel in der Nähe (2,9,43,44,10A). Die U6 Station Alserstraße ist nur drei Stationen mit der 43er Linie entfernt (ab Rosensteingasse) und mit der Straßenbahnlinie 2 kommt man in wenigen Minuten von der Station Mayssengasse zur U6 Station Josefstädterstraße, direkt zum Karlsplatz oder zum Donaukanal. Die Straßenbahnlinie 9 fährt in ca. 15min direkt zum Westbahnhof. Für Studierende ist die Anbindung top, da die Hauptuni sowie Boku in max. 20 Minuten mit den Öffis oder in 15min mit dem Rad erreichbar sind.

From our apartment, you can reach everywhere in a very pleasant time. There are many shopping options as well as public transportation nearby (2, 9, 43, 44, 10A). The U6 station Alserstraße is only three stops away with the 43 line (starting from Rosensteingasse), and with tram line 2, you can quickly reach U6 station Josefstädterstraße from Mayssengasse station, directly to Karlsplatz or the Danube Canal. Tram line 9 takes about 15 minutes to reach the Westbahnhof directly. For students, the connection is excellent, as the main university (Hauptuni) and Boku are reachable within a maximum of 20 minutes by public transport or 15 minutes by bike.

Nach 8 Jahren werde ich mich schweren Herzens von meiner geliebten WG verabschieden.
Die WG besteht im Moment aus 5 unglaublich lieben und aufgeschlossenen Menschen, die jeden sofort willkommen heißen.

Hier wohnen Ani, nun die WG älteste, die Hockey Spielerin, die im Master Archivwissenschaften und Linguistik studiert, von der man Geschichtlich jedes feinste Detail erzählt bekommen kann, ohne dass es einen langweilt. Daniel, der Hampelmann, der verrückte Alltagsgeschichtenerzähler, der Jazz- und Popgitarre studiert und mit seiner Band Deep Talk immer wieder Auftritte hat, die man nicht verpassen sollte.
Maja, die an der Angewandten Intermediale Kunst studiert und meist überall ist und nirgends.
Wenn man sie über ihre Kunst fragt kann man sich die nächsten 2 Stunden gut unterhalten lassen.
Dominik der im alternativen Energie Sektor arbeitet und jedes zweite Wochenende kellnert während er sich auf seine DJ-Karriere vorbereitet.
Jero unser jüngster Zuwachs, aus Argentinien, arbeitet in der Gastronomie und hat große Qualitäten als Psychotherapeut der WG.

Großartig an dieser WG ist der respektvolle Umgang mit der Privatsphäre.
Jeder hat hier seinen eigenen (Arbeits-)Alltag und Zeit für sich, jedoch wenn man soziale Interaktionen wünscht, so gibt es meistens jemand der beim Kochen dabei ist, einen Film schaut oder auch für einen Ausflug zu haben ist.
Wir haben einen ausgeklügelten und relativ entspannten Putzplan. Unsere Devise: wenig Arbeit für ein sauberes Wohngefühl. Sauberkeit ist uns allen wichtig!

After 8 years, I'm saying goodbye to my beloved flat share with a heavy heart.
The current composition of the flatshare consists of 5 incredibly kind and open-minded individuals who welcome anyone with open arms.

Ani lives here, now the oldest member of the flat share, the field hockey player, who is studying archival sciences and linguistics for her Master's degree, from whom you can be told every last historical detail without getting bored. Daniel, the jumping jack, the crazy everyday storyteller, who studies jazz and pop guitar and always has gigs with his band Deep Talk that you shouldn't miss.
Maja, who studies Intermedia Art at the Angewandte and is usually everywhere and nowhere.
If you ask her about her art, you can be entertained for the next 2 hours.
Dominik who works in the energy sector and waits tables every other weekend while preparing for his DJ career.
Jero our latest addition, from Argentina, works in the catering industry and has great qualities as the psychotherapist of the WG.

What makes this flatshare remarkable is the respectful handling of privacy. Each person has their own (work) routine and personal time, but if social interactions are desired, there is usually someone cooking, watching a movie, or up for an excursion. We have a well-thought-out and relatively relaxed cleaning schedule. Our motto: minimal effort for a clean living environment. Cleanliness is important to all of us!
