Seeking Single or Couple for a spacious room in a wonderful 5-Person shared flat

The apartment is in the 17th district quite close to the Gürtel, so it's super well connected but it's not too loud around here!
There is an Interspar, a Hofer and a pharmacy just around the corner. There are also numerous snack bars and restaurants within walking distance. You will need about 4 minutes to get to the U6 Alserstraße and to the 43 tram. By bike you can get almost everywhere in no more than 30 minutes. The beautiful Yppenplatz is also super close (5 min) and you will find a lot of cute cafés there. At the Brunnenmarkt (which is at the Yppenplatz) you can get fresh fruits and vegetables every day :)
For students: The University of Vienna and the Boku are also very close and easy to reach.

Die Wohnung liegt im 17. Bezirk recht nah zum Gürtel, also super angebunden und trotzdem nicht zu laut!
Direkt um die Ecke gibt es einen Interspar, einen Hofer und eine Apotheke. Außerdem gibt es hier zahlreiche Imbisse und Restaurants in Fußnähe. Zur U6 Station Alserstraße und zur 43er Tram läufst Du ca. 4 Minuten und mit dem Rad bist du fast überall in max. 30 Minuten. Außerdem bist du in 5 Minuten am Yppenplatz, wo es viele nette Cafés gibt, und am Brunnenmarkt, wo du jeden Tag frischen Obst und Gemüse bekommst :)
Für Studierende: Die Hauptuni und die Boku sind auch super easy zu erreichen.

We are 5 people in the flat, students as well as working people all between 23 and 30. Martyna will be moving out to another flat, that's why this room will be free now.

You would be living with:
Nina from Slovenia, 29, working full-time at the university as researcher for environmental psychology (she did her PHD about that subject in Münster in Germany, that's why she is very good at German), she does yoga and goes swimming, and she is a very good cook.
Arzu 24, from Minnesota, is doing her cognitive science master, bakes professionally & for us, loves Coffee, being social & walks or bikes everywhere.
Niklas, 25, moved to Vienna from Stockholm for a change in scenery, is into everything German, goes for a run every so often and loves to peruse music shops as well as read dry classical novels.
Kathi, 25, from Salzburg, is studying English and Scandinavian Studies at the university, is obsessed with knitting and loves to read, cook vegan food and to bike everywhere, as well as to care for her ever-growing plant collection.

We all get along very well and enjoy spending time together. We like to share personal stuff and to talk about the issues that move us and the world we live in. We also do things together outside the apartment sometimes (occasionally party together, go to concerts, play volleyball, cycle, check out museums & plays, etc.). Other than that we like to get together in our cozy kitchen to cook, hang out and host friends or when collectively renovating the flat (currently we're painting the hallway and hopefully will soon build a shoe rack) Overall, it's a very nice mix of mutual interest and respect. We would love to welcome somebody who is open-minded, active, and genuinely interested in living together! By the way, we often speak English at home, since some of us do not speak German. However, multiple people in the flat are fluent in German too!

Wir sind 5 Personen in der Wohnung, sowohl Student*innen als auch Berufstätige, alle zwischen 24 und 30 Jahren.

Mit uns würdest du wohnen:
Nina, 29, aus Slowenien, sie arbeitet Vollzeit an der Uni Wien im Bereich Umweltpsychologie (da sie ihren Master in Münster in Deutschland gemacht hat, spricht sie auch sehr gut Deutsch), darüber hinaus macht sie Yoga und geht viel schwimmen und kocht sehr gut.
Dann ist da Arzu, 24, aus Minnesota, sie studiert im Master Kognitionswissenschaften, bäckt professionell und für uns, liebt Kaffee, Menschen um sich haben und spaziert gern durch die Stadt.
Niklas, 25, ist für einen Tapetenwechel aus Stockholm nach Wien gezogen, interessiert sich für alles was mit Deutsch zu tun hat, geht hin und wieder joggen und liebt es durch Musikläden zu stöbern und trockene Klassiker zu lesen.
Kathi, 25, aus Salzburg, studiert Englisch und Skandinavistik, ist begeisterte Strickerin und liebt es zu lesen, veganes Essen zu kochen und durch die Stadt zu radeln, sowie sich um ihre immer wachsende Pflanzensammlung zu kümmern.

Wir verstehen uns alle sehr gut und verbringen gerne Zeit miteinander. Wir teilen gerne persönliches und sprechen über Dinge, die uns und diese Welt bewegen. Außerhalb der Wohnung sehen wir uns auch (gelegentlich gemeinsam feiern, Konzerte, Volleyball, Radeln, im Museum oder bei Theaterstücken etc.) und sonst zum gemütlichen Kochen und Abhängen in unserer sehr gemütlichen Küche oder beim gemeinsamen Renovieren der WG (gerade richten wir den Flur neu ein nachdem wir die Wände geputzt haben). Insgesamt ist es eine schöne Mischung aus gegenseitigem Interesse und respektvollem Umgang. Wir freuen uns also sehr wenn du eine aufgeschlossene und aktive Person bist, die gemeinschaftlich wohnen möchte! Übrigens reden wir viel Englisch in der WG, da einige von uns kein Deutsch sprechen. Allerdings gibt es auch mehrere Leute in der WG die fließend Deutsch sprechen!

Martyna is very flexible regarding the move-in date, so just get in touch and we'll figure something out.

We are also preferably looking for someone willing to take shared responsibility of main tenancy, which has a few prerequisites, but we can talk about all that when we meet! :)

Regarding the furniture you see in the pictures, you would have to chat with Martyna who is moving out of that room. She might borrow you the bed e.g. What more or less comes with the room is the sofa, the table installation in the princess corner and the big closet that's hiding the connecting door to Arzus room (which is insulated but doesn't look super pretty on Martyna's side).

We would be very happy if you contacted us in English, as some of us don't speak german. Also english is the language that we use for day to day communication in the flat anyway. We're looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Martyna ist recht flexibel, was das Einzugsdatum angeht, also kontaktiere uns einfach und wir legen gemeinsam was fest was für alle klar geht.

Wir suchen vorzugsweise nach einer Person die auch bereit ist geteilte Verantwortung für die Hauptmiete zu übernehmen, was ein paar Voraussetzungen mitbringt, näheres dazu können wir gern in einem Gespräch klären. :)

Bezüglich der Möbel, die du auf den Fotos siehst, kannst du mit Martyna in Kontakt treten (sie zieht aus dem Zimmer aus.) Evtl. kann sie dir z.B. das Bett leihen bzw. verkaufen. Was inzwischen zum Inventar des Raums gehört sind die Couch, weil sie nicht durch die Eingangstüre passt, die Tischinstallation im Erker und der Schrank der den Durchgang zu Arzus Zimmer verdeckt (und zugleich den Lärm isoliert).

Es wäre schön wenn du uns auf Englisch kontaktierst, da wir nicht alle Deutsch sprechen & Englisch ohnehin die Sprache ist in der wir alle im Alltag kommunizieren. Wir freuen uns von dir zu hören!
