The room is 15m2, fully-furnished (a small fee of 200€ for all the furniture) - everything you see in the photos stays. The room faces east, so you get a lot of morning sun which makes the room very plant-friendly :) at the same time, there's no direct sunlight in the afternoon, which means it doesn't get too hot in the summer.
Apart from the room, there's a separate toilet and bathroom, and fully-equipped kitchen. There's everything you might need for the cooking, from pots and pans, blenders, a toaster, a microwave and oven, and of course, there's also a quite recently installed dishwasher (another small fee of 100€). We also have a washing machine in the flat.
The location is perfect- there's a tram stop of the line 40 and 41 just around the corner, which takes you directly to the city center and the Hauptuni in just 15 minutes. If you're up for a nice walk, the city centre is also reachable by foot within 30-35 minutes. 10 minutes away, there's also the subway station Währinger strasse - Volksoper (U6).
Regarding the groceries, there is Penny just across the street (around 3mins), DM (3 mins), Hofer (5mins), and Spar (10mins). There's also Lidl a bit futher away, around 15 minutes by foot.
Türkenshanzpark (perfect for sports) or Liechtensteinpark are both within walking distance, if you're looking for a bit of nature. In general, the area is very green and great for walks, especially the cottage area which is nearby.
You'll live with Carsten from Germany, who is currently doing his Phd in Physics in Vienna and is always up for a beer. Your second flatmate will be Birgit from Austria, who is studying landscape architecture at BOKU and works part time. They both speak German and English, so feel free to send us either german or english inquiries :)
If you are interested, please write us a bit about yourself and when you could visit the flat. If you're not in Vienna, we can also have an online call, just let us know what you would prefer.
