WG-Zimmer nähe Türkenschanzpark im 18. Bezirk / Room in shared flat 18th district in Vienna

Die Wohnung ist im 18. Bezirk an der Kreuzung Schulgasse und Martinstraße. In der Martinstraße gibt es alles was man so zum Einkaufen braucht (DM, Billa, Hofer, Denns, Spar, Bipa, Wochenmarkt) innerhalb von 5min zu Fuß. So schnell ist man auch bei den Straßenbahnlinien 40, 41, 42 und die U6 erreicht man in 8 min zu Fuß (Währinger Straße-Volksoper).

Man ist schnell in der Stadt, kann aber trotzdem zu Ruhe kommen hier. Um die Ecke befindet sich der Schubertpark in dem man sich in die Wiese legen kann, Tischtennis spielen, Basketball spielen, eigentlich alles spielen was man will oder man läuft ein paar Meter weiter bis zum Türkenschanzpark. Hier kann man Spaziergänge aller Art und Länge machen und die Natur richtig auskosten.

In der Währinger Straße gibt es allerhand kleine besondere Läden zu entdecken und man wird immer wieder von der kulinarischen Vielfalt überrascht. Vor allem gibt es jeden Samstag einen Wochenmarkt (große Empfehlung für lokales und frisches Obst und Gemüse).

The apartment is in the 18th district at the intersection of Schulgasse and Martinstraße. In Martinstraße there is everything you need for shopping (DM, Billa, Hofer, Denns, Spar, Bipa, weekly market) within a 5min walk. This is also the distance to the streetcar lines 40, 41, 42 and you can reach the U6 in 8 minutes by foot (Währinger Straße-Volksoper).

The city center is close by, but you can still come to rest here. Around the corner is the Schubertpark in which you can lie in the meadow, play table tennis, play basketball, actually play anything you want or you can walk a few meters further to the Türkenschanzpark. Here you can take walks of all kinds and lengths and really enjoy nature.

In Währinger Straße there are all kinds of small shops to discover and you are always surprised by the culinary variety. Above all, there is a weekly market every Saturday (great recommendation for local and fresh fruits and vegetables).

Mit dir wohnen Lukas (m, 27) und Schaki (w, 26).

Lukas befindet sich auf der Zielgeraden seines Psychologiemasters. Er ist in Schweden aufgewachsen, kocht fast so gerne wie er isst und ist für Spiel & Sport und Quatsch & Ernst (fast) immer zu haben. Unschlagbar in Kreuzworträtseln und Fakten über so ziemlich jeden Sport, guter Duett-Partner für Total Eclipse of the Heart und Lieder die cool waren, als wir 16 waren. Er interessiert sich sehr für die verschiedenen Kulturen dieser Erde und ihre Kulinarik (hierzu gibt es öfter ausgiebige YouTube Safaris).

Schaki schreibt gerade ihre Masterarbeit in Psychologie und arbeitet nebenbei bei Rat auf Draht und auch ein paar Stunden bei SwingKitchen (wer hier wohnt wird durchgefüttert). Sie unterhält sich gerne über Gott und die Welt, versucht Swahili und Französisch zu lernen, isst lieber als sie kocht, liest gerne und genießt die Kultur in Wien sehr. Ausserdem hat sie einen eigenes Sinnesorgan für das Aufspüren von Süßem und spielt wann immer sie kann ihre BANGER-Playlist ab. (Zusatz: Die Playlist ist krank gut.)

Wir leben sehr harmonisch miteinander und würden uns freuen über jemanden, der*die neue Ideen mit uns teilt. Gerne verbringen wir auch einmal den Abend miteinander - kochen, spielen und tauschen uns aus. Eine saubere Wohnung ist wichtig, aber viel wichtiger noch ist, dass wir versuchen ein bisschen Spaß in die Putzaktion zu bringen. Auch über eine*n Mitbewohner*in aus einem anderen Land würden wir uns sehr freuen.

Lukas is on the home straight of finishing his psychology master's degree. He grew up in Sweden, loves cooking almost as much as eating, and is (almost) always up for games & sports and stupid as well as serious conversations. Virtually unbeatable in crossword puzzles and knowing facts about pretty much every sport, good duet partner for Total Eclipse of the Heart and songs that were cool when we were 16. He is very interested in the different cultures of this earth as well as their culinary arts (YouTube safaris about them happen probably more often than he would like to admit).

Schaki is currently writing her master's thesis in psychology and works part-time at Rat auf Draht, as well as a couple of hours a week at SwingKitchen (whoever moves in will be fed). She likes to talk about everything and nothing, is working on learning Swahili and French, prefers eating over cooking, likes to read and enjoys the culture in Vienna a lot. She also has an in-built cookie-radar and likes to show off her BANGER playlist whenever she gets a chance to. The playlist is straight fire, though.

We live very harmoniously together and would be happy about someone who shares their ideas with us. We also like to spend evenings together - cooking, playing and exchanging ideas. A clean apartment is important, but more important is that we try to inject a little fun into the cleaning process. We would also be very happy to have a roommate from another country.
