The flat is a spacious 140 sqm apartment in a classic building with 3,20m high ceilings, located close to the nature of the Danube River. Quiet, with lots of fresh air, the apartment features a spacious living room with a fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet, an additional toilet and a washing machine. All bedrooms include a TV, two single beds, a wardrobe and a bedside table. The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge, oven, hob, dishwasher and tableware. The living area features a large dining table, comfortable sofa and huge TV. An 18m2 terrace provides an ideal place for gatherings and parties.
The bedroom is 20.83 m2 and includes a TV, two single beds (that can be made into a double one, king size!), a wardrobe and a bedside table. The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge, oven, hob, dishwasher and tableware. The living area features a large dining table, comfortable sofa and huuuge TV. And finally, an 18m2 terrace provides an ideal place for gatherings and for having lunch together in summer :)
The house itself is well maintained and recently renovated. The neighbors are extremely friendly, easygoing and helpful. The building offers a bicycle room, elevator, and garbage service. The price includes the rent and all running costs such as operating costs, water, insurance and WiFi. ALL IN!!
The apartment is located in Engerthstrasse, within 5 min walk-length from Handelskai – the main train station in the 20th district. The area is quite and peaceful, very sunny. It's really perfect for summer, since we're a stone's throw from Donauinsel: you can get there in 3 minutes with your bike and take a swim or play volley!
Several supermarkets (Hofer - 250m, Billa Plus - 450m), as well as restaurants, bars, and boutiques located in Millennium City shopping mall (450 m) are in the immediatevicinity, within easy walking distance.
The connection to public transport is optimally given via lines 5A, 11A, 11B (bus), U6 (U-bahn), and Sbahn trains (from both Handelskai and Traisengasse. You can get to the city center in ~30 min or less.
Bedroom A is rented by me, the contract holder. I’m Laura (she/her), a 25-yo Spanish microbiologist and a PhD student (just started, wish me luck). I'm pretty extroverted, so you're always welcome to have meals together, watch a movie, go partying to the Gürtel, or play volley in Donauinsel :)
Miren is a 23-yo Spanish student, very sweet and friendly, and Patrycja is a 25-yo Polish student doing an internship, super nice and gentle. They would also start living in the apartment on Jun-July, so we can design the WG life as we please!
The apartment is pet-friendly – my two cats are already living there, they are absolutely lovely and very cuddly with literally anyone. They have never lived with other animals (apart from humans of course), but if you have pets, we could try to organize a proper introduction and try!
I am looking for responsible and nice tenants, no matter your age, to share the flat with me :)
