Zimmer in 3er WG

Man ist wohnt zwar direkt an der Hauptstraße ist aber mit dem Fahrrad in 2 Minuten auf der Donauinsel und in 5-10 Gehminuten entweder am Handelskai (U6/S-Bahn), bei der Traisengasse (S-Bahn/2er Bim) oder in 1 Minute beim Bus 11A/B, der fährt direkt zur U1 und U2.
In der Millenium City gibt es alle Geschäfte die man fürs tägliche Leben braucht, und noch näher gibt es einen Hofer.
Zusammengefasst ist man sehr schnell in der Innenstadt und sehr schnell im Grünen. Für Autofahrer gibt es eine Tiefgarage (kostet leider extra).

Although the apartment is directly on the main street, it is only a 2-minute bike ride to the Donauinsel and within a 5-10 minute walk you can reach either the Handelskai (U6/S-Bahn), Traisengasse (S-Bahn/Tram 2), or in 1 minute you can get to the bus 11A/B, which goes directly to the U1 and U2 subway lines.
In the Millennium City, there are all the shops needed for daily life, and even closer, there is a Hofer supermarket.
In summary, you can quickly get to the city center and also quickly reach green spaces. For drivers, there is an underground garage (which unfortunately costs extra).

Meine Mitbewohner David und Aniela verlassen beide die WG mit Ende April, ab Mitte Juni wird dann eine Freundin das 3. WG Zimmer übernehmen.
Wir waren bisher alle Vollzeit Berufstätig bzw. in einem Praktikum, zwei von uns haben nebenbei auch studiert. Grundsätzlich steht die WG allen offen, wir schauen halt, dass besonders unter der Woche darauf geachtet wird, dass man nicht die ganz argen Partys hostet.
Ansonsten leg ich wert drauf, dass es keine reine Zweck WG wird. Natürlich macht jede/r sein/ihr eigenes Ding, aber gemeinsames Essen, Film schauen, Bier trinken oder einfach Tratschen in der Wohnung soll auch ein Bestandteil des Zusammenlebens sein.
Die Wohnung ist teilweise ein bisschen abgewoht, es ist aber alles im Rahmen. Umso wichtiger ist es die Gemeinschaftsräume sauber zu halten. Es gibt jetzt keine Putz Stasi und wenn mal einen Abend was liegen bleibt werden es alle überleben, es gibt aber einen WG-Putzplan der von allen ernst genommen werden sollte.

My roommates David and Aniela are both leaving the shared apartment at the end of April, and a friend will take over the third room in mid-June. We have all been working full-time or interning, and two of us have also been studying on the side. Generally, the shared apartment is open to everyone, but we make sure that especially during the week, we don’t host very wild parties.

Additionally, I value that it doesn’t become a purely functional living arrangement. Naturally, everyone does their own thing, but having meals together, watching movies, drinking a beer, or just chatting in the apartment should also be part of our cohabitation.

The apartment is a bit worn in places, but everything is acceptable. That’s why it’s even more important to keep the common areas clean. There isn’t a cleaning police, and if something is left out one evening, everyone will survive, but there is a cleaning schedule for the shared apartment that everyone should take seriously.

Ein paar Sätze über mich: Ich heiße Paul, bin 25 Jahre alt, bin geboren und aufgewachsen in Wien, und Lebe seit August in der WG. Davor habe ich 4 Jahre in Schottland gelebt und habe dort Politikwissenschaften studiert. Momentan arbeite ich 40 Stunden, klassisch 9-5.
Nebenbei bin ich Boxtrainer bei Backyard Boxing. Ich nehme mir sehr viel Zeit für meine Freunde, sowohl unter der Woche als auch am Wochenende. Sonntags trifft man mich oft im Stadion, Samstag Nachmittag mit Zeitung im Kaffeehaus, Freitag und Samstag Abend in Bars beim Billiard, Darts oder Bier. Unter der Woche oft auch Zuhause bei Musik aus der Sammlung oder bei Willkommen Österreich vorm Fernseher. Kulinarik ist meine Passion und ich habe selbst 8 Jahre in der Gastro gearbeitet. Ich koche gerne und esse und trinke noch lieber. Vom Würstelstand bis zum versnobten Sterne Lokal, wenns das Gehalt hergibt, vom Dosenbier bis zur Fancy Cocktail Bar bin ich für alles zu haben.
Ich bin auch Abseits des Studiums und der Arbeit ein politischer aktiver Mensch. Man muss nicht in allem einer Meinung sein aber wenn du ein rechter Recke ist, der Frauen und Ausländer hasst und Homophob bist, dann ist es besser für dich wenn du dich nicht für das Zimmer bewirbst. Alle anderen sind willkommen ❤️

A few sentences about me: My name is Paul, I'm 25 years old, born and raised in Vienna, and have been living in this shared apartment since August. Before that, I lived in Scotland for four years where I studied Political Science. Currently, I work 40 hours a week, typically from 9 to 5.

In my spare time, I'm a boxing coach at Backyard Boxing. I spend a lot of time with my friends, both during the week and on weekends. On Sundays, you can often find me at the stadium, on Saturday afternoons with a newspaper in a café, and on Friday and Saturday nights in bars playing pool, darts, or just having a beer. During the week, I'm often at home listening to music from my collection or watching "Willkommen Österreich" on TV. Culinary arts are my passion, and I've worked in the hospitality industry for 8 years. I love to cook and enjoy eating and drinking even more. From a hot dog stand to a snobby Michelin-starred restaurant, and from canned beer to fancy cocktail bars, I'm up for anything if my salary allows it.

I am also politically active outside of my studies and work. We don't have to agree on everything, but if you're a right-wing idiot who hates women, foreigners, and is homophobic, then it's better for you not to apply for the room. Everyone else is welcome ❤️
