The room is 16 m² large large and fully furnished (bedclothes, cabinet, desk, ...). A computer monitor, keyboard and mouse that can convieninetly be conected to a laptop via the USB hub are also part of the furnishing.
The bed is 140cm x 200cm. It comes with a mattress, pillows, blanket, sheets and bed clothes.
The apartment has two floors with 2 bed rooms on each. The entrance, kitchen, toilet, a 20m² room and a small 5m² room are on the first floor. Bathroom, closet and two 16m² rooms are on the second. Between the floors is a staircase.
The rent is "All-Inclusive" – everything from internet to heating to toilet paper is included. The "Ablösevereinbarung" of 100€ is a one time payment. It covers washing bedclothes, cleaning the room and wear and tear of furniture and equipment.
In close walking distance are supermarkets (Lidl, Bila, Spar), underground U6,
tram and a bus station is directly beside the house. One of the most beautiful parks in Vienna, the Augarten is just a 5min footwalk away.
The residents of the flat share mostly come from all over the world to study or work in Vienna.
The current residents are from Russia, Slowakia, an Germany.
There is a WhatsApp group for the WG which is used to share information among tenants.
One important aspects of living in a flatshare is keeping the shared space clean. The cleaning regiment is rotational. A single person is responsible to clean the entire apartment for one week and the next person is responsible in the next week and so on. Since 4 people live in the apatment one week of cleaning is usually followed by 3 weeks of not having to clean.
All house hold items like garbage bags, kitchen rolls, cleaning agents and so on are included in the rent.
There is a laundry room in the cellar of the apartment with 2 washing machines and a dryer.
By default the rental periode is to the start of the winter or summer semester. However if a someone want's to move out sooner this is possible if a new tenant can be found. This requires that a tenant who would like to move out holds f room viewing in person or Whatsappfor. Usually it takes 2-4 room viewings within the periode of a months to find a new tenant.
