Free room in colorful shared house with garden ( 22. district) is looking for new inhabitants/ housemate(s) interested to help shape the space and comunity life.
The room:
Is on the first flor, with east facing window at the front of the house. It is approximate 20m2 and costs 450€.
The room is accesible though the living room, which tend to be a quiter and not so frequently used space, with room for change.
House and Garden:
The house has 120 m2 living space and the garden expands an additional 1400 m2.
The house is comfy, a bit run down and not antique but older and allways happy to get additional attention and care.
The large and lovely wild garden also allways wants loving attention. It is open to be used by housemates and friends, to grow vegetables in the fieled and care for the garden etc..
Conection:
The house is close to Seestadt, and well conected to public transport (u2).
It takes about 30 min to get to University of Vienna.
Comunity:
We are a slightly chaotic, politically left and diverse comunity.
We all have diffrent personalities and ways of living, we share and are United by openess and tolerance.
The kitchen is generally Vegan, and open to vegetarian freegan readymade meals and Snacks.
We speack diffrent languages, german is the language we share. English, turkish and arabic and art are also spoken. We welcome new languages, ideas and positive change to move in with you.
Important for us is that you share our values, practice Solidarity and like and respect animals and their rights.
We would be happy if you are interested activley participating and taking innniative in caring and lovingly shaping the space and comunity life, which is going though a lot of change lately.
About us:
Reh (he) 30, is bike courrier at Hermes collective. He lives with a dog called Thiu who is 2.5 years old. Friendly but sometimes a bit Loud.
Z. (She) is a strong and loveing personality, she speacks turkish and german, and with luck you might get to hear her sing sometimes. She lives in the house together with M. (he) her kindhearted and rather quite 16 year old son in two connecting rooms.
And then there is the room in which Ŕ. (they) usually lives. Ŕ does visual and conceptual Art and is traveling quite alot. The room is at times used and lived in by friends. Right now there is also a 12 year old dog living on the Ground Floor.
